  • Optimistic Broncos!

We don’t know what the new ownership will be yet, but we are getting new owners.

George Paton has been absolutely fantastic. We are still waiting on a full assessment of the first two drafts and FA classes, but things are looking good!

The coaching staff from Hackett on down is full of positive energy. They are new and surely will make mistakes, but it seems they will learn quickly. New culture for sure.

Russell Wilson is seemingly the perfect fit for this makeover.

What is the ceiling for this team for this year? Beyond? Yet to be seen, but the anticipation for the new year is palpable.

    Great article.
Denver Broncos and fans find rejuvenated energy and optimism under the new coaching staff and led by their new franchise-caliber quarterback.

Count me down for team positive.

This will be an exciting, creative new offense. I think our biggest problem moving forward will be losing our coordinators year after year (like good organizations do). So I hope we keep hiring bright new assistants to replenish the brain drain.

I was truly scared about losing Vic's ability to keep a great defense together. I mean, he trotted in street linebackers and corners for a couple years and had them playing really well. However, with the new talent along the D-line, I feel like we have gotten a couple additional pieces to compete in the division and stop watching QBs pick us apart. Offensive Time of Possession is what will help our defense remain strong and rested.

I think our new porn star mustache TE is going to be a hit - love the pick.

    I'm excited!

I think we'll have some up and down games while the new staff works out the kinks, but we'll be there for a playoff spot this year - finally. I expect we'll see homefield dominance return to Mile High. Hope the new owners bring in Peyton to assist with the operation.

I believe what we lose in experience or Vic genius will be more than compensated for with Evero’s aggressiveness.

          Agree 💯

A little struggle out of the gate is expected. Picking up steam as we go.

assuming all key players stay healthy, Count me in for team positive. Gone are the days of hitting the kitchens for food when the offense comes on the field.

I expect double digit wins. 10-11 is realistic 12+ is hoping for best. Not sure what it will take for wildcard but the AFC going to beat up on each other all year.

I expect to go into every single game knowing we'll have a legit chance to win because at the very least we'll have a puncher's chance with RW3. We might win it all or we might not but either way it's going to be a blast.

10-11 wins sounds about right to me. I don’t know if that gets this team to the playoffs, but if Wilson stays healthy I like their chances.

11-6 is my prediction. 12-5 at best

                      good enough for playoffs

I think George Paton has been amazing -- possibly the best GM we've had in my 35 years of cheering for the Broncos.

Russell Wilson is a huge upgrade over what we've had at Quarterback since the 2015 season (including Manning's last year).

Hackett is a bit of a loon, but the players seem to like him, and he's got some innovative ideas (love the educational technology instructor hire). I'm cautiously optimistic regarding the offense, but feel that it might take the better part of the first season before everything gels.

The defense looks fairly stacked at pass rusher, safety, and cornerback now -- here's hoping that Evero is the next great defensive coordinator in the league ; )

Looking forward to the season -- if we go 10-7 or better in 2022, I think we should consider that a success. 9-8 would be a disappointment.

Nice to see the hope and optimism around here. Beating you twice a year is much more fun when you expect to win.

I agree that 10 wins is the low bar.

This, I love knowing we have a legitimate chance every weekend. It was so hard to get excited about pretty much any of our teams since 2015. In the past we had to play a perfect game, get lucky or play a crap team to win. Not any more!

We will actually score some points, and win games with a clutch QB on those late game drives!

Former Chief. Former Raider. Former member of the Packers squad that we beat in SB XXXII. Completely unbiased!

Optimistic here. Russ looks like a good leader. A little worried about Hackett.

Going to beat KC twice this year. All the stories will be about the rise of the broncos and fall of the chiefs.

It will probably boil down to injuries, like it almost always does. But at least we have a fighting chance this year.

How could anybody possibly figure they'd be worse?

We upgraded the most important position on the field with one of the best players at that position in the entire league.

I've never been a Wilson fanboy but... how could anybody possibly figure they'd be worse?

We were in position to potentially beat KC with Lock at home. We have significantly improved coaching, QB and roster.

KC, even with a bevy of draft picks lost key players.

It may take time to install offense & defense and gel, but by the end of the year I’ll be surprised if we are in the playoffs and a team no one wants to face.
