The NFL is going to spread out schedule news over the next few days with the full schedule dropping this Thursday.

Peter King thinks we could open up against the Rams
    2. I think, as I’ve written recently, I still think the two front-runners for the first game of the season—which the NFL has a very tight lid on right now—are Buffalo at the Rams or Denver at the Rams, on Thursday night, Sept. 8
A double header for MNF....in Week 2?! And they aren't waiting for the first game to end to start the second game.

It’s sad how the NFL has somehow managed to turn this into a week long event…

Yeah, I’m not a fan either. Release it all.

I can understand and appreciate the excitement you all have about possibly opening on Thursday night football, but I think in terms of getting off on the right foot, making the playoffs etc...If I were a Bronco fan with those goals in mind, I think I'd rather not have this as the opening game for a team with a new QB, new coaching staff, that includes a bunch of new assistants in new roles, installing new offenses and defenses. Teams starting 0-1 mathematically make the playoffs under 50% of the time...an opening week loss isn't a killer by any means, but @Rams is less than optimal for you all if that's how it shakes out. Considering they announced the Bills as part of week 2 doubleheader on Monday night...suggests that someone else is getting a prime time game week 1, not named the Bills. As a Chiefs fan, I am certainly hoping the opener is in fact Broncos at Rams. I think sitting here right now, that's an L for the Broncos.

I'm looking forward to the schedule release, but we already also know KC gets the Chargers week 2 on Thursday night in KC. KC already had the hardest schedule on paper as it is so there aren't many "easy" games for us to land, but as KC is breaking in alot of new recievers, RB's and DB's...I am hoping for the KC opener to be either @Houston or home VS Jacksonville.

So you want a softball game, so your precious queefs can start 1-0? That’s the difference between you and a Broncos fan. We want to see how our team compares to the best. Iron sharpens iron. Getting an easy win doesn’t do much for us. Beating the Rams on the road in the season opener would be a great start to the season.

chefs aren’t the team to beat anymore. Even chef fans know it

Me personally I don’t care who we start off with. I just can’t wait to see our new team in action

I want them to start 1-0 and go 20-0 first of all....

...And I am also looking forward to seeing my team in action, no matter who we face and what week we face them.

but to answer your question. YES. I would like one of the few easy games we have, as the opener. As I stated...we got a lot of new skill players to break in. I'd rather be doing that against lesser competition as opposed to the Rams D in week 1. We are going to play the Rams at some point this year and I am looking forward to it. I'd rather face them with all cylinders firing. As a fan of MATH (not meth) I believe it when the math says 1-0 is good. As a fan of football for years and years, I also understand that given the new folks on the roster, it will probalby take some time to get some chemistry going.

And also...I do see you got @Rams on Christmas. That's better than Rams week 1.

People want to say Wilson is washed up or Broncos aren’t going to be competitive? Washed up QBs and bad teams don’t get Christmas games.

you think broncos playing on Christmas trotting out Teddy 2 floaters? Nope.

It would be nice to get a few games under our belts with new staff and QB.

                                      I’d like a non-divisional home opener.

That would be kinda mean of the NFL. On RW that is.

Could it be Lock vs RW? Intriguing. Would have RW focused for sure.

Lock isn't intriguing to anyone besides Shane.
