Roe vs. Wade was a 7-2 decision in 1973. The 7 was made up of 5 GOP appointees and 2 Dem appointees. What changed? Tell me more about how itâs the Dems moving left, not the GOP moving right.

Do some research. It's widely held that decision was out of bounds.

Put on your big boy pants and explain it to us, Bronco Joe.
Nothing I post will satisfy you leftist activists. It's widely held the Row decision was a poor one. If you're not willing to do some research, nothing I post will help you.
What wouldâve been so wrong with him? Heâs a milquetoast moderate who wouldnât have rocked the boat at all. He has no balls and he sits down to pee. đ¤ˇđźââď¸

Plenty of people point out that Attorney General Merrick Garland's decision to deploy federal law enforcement against families protesting public school policies is an abuse of power that threatens civil liberties. Worth adding to the objections, though, is the important point that treating parents who object to school board decisions about masking and curricula as terrorists can only further turn them against the powers-that-be. Garland and other officials are setting up a cycle of reaction and repression that can only destroy the institutions they claim to protect.
Statist authoritarian stripes exposed. I'd rather have an actual liberal.

Eh, you could probably find a case or issue like that for every judge. Look at all the stuff Scalia did. Fact is that Garland hasnât been running DOJ as an authoritarian like Bill Barr did, so it doesnât seem like thatâs a core value of his or anything. Iâd argue heâs pretty middle of the road compared to other candidates the far-left wouldâve preferred to see nominated. Obama purposefully nominated someone who was older and more mainstream that Republicans wouldnât have had a problem voting for under normal circumstances.
So you're picking up the mantle. No surprise. đ

Leave it to the âlegitimate political discourseâ people to have a problem with Garland sending law enforcement to police right-wing domestic terrorists at the behest of school officials who were being threatened with violence.
