Definitely deserves to be in. Would love to see him and Shanny go! Glad his chances are improving.

Randy is my overall favorite football player and is way over due for enshrinement. Hopefully this will be the push needed to get him into Canton. I still remember when Meck77 had Randy stop by at one of the tailgate parties back in the day and it brought tears to my eyes when he asked if I wanted to have my jersey signed.... which of course I accepted.

I've run into various sports celebrities over the years, both active and retired. Some at bars or nightclubs, some at shopping malls, some at sales promotions, some at social gatherings, and even one in an elevator (John Elway).
It was quite a few years ago, but I ran into Randy Gradishar at a place where he wasn't getting paid, where he got no publicity, where he was just following his Christian faith.
He was quietly counseling an inmate. An inmate on death row.
I'm not a particularly religious fellow, but he earned a lot of my respect that day.
