It’s insane how lopsided the NFL is today. AFC so far ahead of the NFC. Here’s my list after the offseason moves so far.

    1. Bills
    2. Bengals
    3. Chiefs
    4. Chargers
    5. Browns
    6. Titans
    7. Colts
    8. Broncos
    9. Ravens
    10. Raiders
    11. Patriots
    12. Dolphins
    13. Steelers
    14. Jags
    15. Jets
    16. Texans

and that was hard to do because 1-12 are all legit competitive teams now.

Yep. 8th is a contender. You can have 3rd to 8th or more separated by just one game.

it’s right on the line for playoffs. This isn’t a higher seed playoff team when multiple teams are just stacked and ready to go. This is a team with a new QB learning from all new coaches. There’s going to be a learning curve. And a learning curve in a year with stacked opponents just retooling?

had the AFC not been so dominant with multiple high seed caliber teams I would’ve went higher. I’m higher up on Colts than some others. Ryan will improve that team over their almost getting in last year despite the bad variables they went through.

You're on drugs man! Your 5-7 are whack.

Also I predict a regression from the Bengals and the Chiefs. Broncos top 5.

Lol. I made this thread knowing I can bring it back up at years end. 5 6 7 will be 2 of them likely go to the playoffs barring injury. Those wildcard teams, with one a division winner.

Colts won 9 games with a hack Wentz and injuries. Now they get a nice schedule in 2022.

like I said 3-8 or so are all minimally apart. I have to put denver where they are cause some of the coaching staff never coached an nfl game. September will have some bumps. That puts them at 8 for me. I had them above Browns and Colts until the QB moves.

Even though I have them top 3, wouldn’t be shocked if KC and Cincy both miss the playoffs. The only lock to make it in the AFC is Buffalo.

Ya there’s a ton of variables that can happen. They could just drop or Mahomes could blow a knee. My list will change come September 1st too.

but right now from 1-12 it’s all competitive teams. I’ve never seen so many teams stacked to win. Not sure what season had the most good QBs in a conference but this would be near the top I’m guessing.

                  CBS has Denver at 7

Thankfully the AFC North and AFC West don’t play each other this year. That would ****ing suck.

If you look at the NFC there are six teams who are basically punting on the season: Giants, Bears, Lions, Falcons, Panthers, Seahawks.

weird how you change the goal posts. Notice it says “championship odds”….when I’m talking about “playoff odds” about the 5-7 teams you called me out on.

Want to bet? I bet 2 of the 3 will be in the playoffs between Colts Titans and Browns.

But if we’re doing champ odds heres chargers above broncos :

                              https://www.sportsbettingdime.com/nf...pionship-odds/

I can’t believe some think september won’t be a learning curve for this team. All I takes is to get 2-3 games behind the playoff line and it’s uphill all year in a conference that is stacked. As it stands right now IMO the broncos would fight for a wildcard spot.

I think the Broncos and Titans need to switch places - Wilson and Javonte is better than Tannenhill and Henry. Wilson is way better than Tannenhill. I think the Browns and the Chiefs switch. The Browns have a better running game and defense. With Watson back there now - I could see them winning it all.

Ya it def could flip either way with both team combos. Colts and broncos can switch too. For me I’m giving the Broncos september to get some bumps and bruises on learning how to coach games for a team with entire new systems across the board….some of these coaches never seen nfl time. These other teams and systems are already set.

that’s the difference for me. Broncos at 5-8 are good barometer spots for me in March.

There are 3-4 elite QBs in the AFC (KC, Denver, Buffalo, Cinci (maybe) ) and Denver has one of them. Broncos should be in top 4 of rankings. Only 2 elite QBs in the NFC (GB, Tampa).
Elite QBs can win a game by themselves and tend to be unstoppable in the 4th quarter when the game is on the line.

KC is a big public team because of Mahomes. That has a good amount to do with it.

....little surprising consider since Joe Burrows is the medias bonafide No.1 QB of all time since January......and so many of those same folks predicting the demise of KC since Hill was traded.

Casual fans (the majority of fans) who want to put money on games only care about Mahomes. They believe Mahomes is a superhero who doesn’t need an OL or WRs to win 5 SBs. You’re betting on a brand, like the Cowboys. Naturally inflated odds.
