My daughter was playing one of his songs the other day, and along with that Blinding lights song he does...I coudln't help but notice his stuff is very 80's like. Features synthsizers. Has very upbeat 80's type beats. Lyrics are kind of 80's like. Told my daughter he does the 80's sound better than the dudes in the 80's did it. ....had her go find peter schillings "major tom" and we both noted the similarities of that style to what WKND does.

Anyone else ever stumble upon an artist or song that was done at a different time or era, that hearkens back to the era the style was known for?
