Listened to this only a week ago. Still can’t believe he’s gone. Must have either been a REALLY brief illness or he was keeping it under wraps. Gonna really miss that guy - RIP to a true legend. 👊🏻Comment

Back in the day, when I saw Clayton, I always thought “what a Poindexter!” Then I saw that famous commercial he made with ESPN, and it changed my perspective on him. I learned that he was one of those guys that had a legendary work ethic, and no one out-prepared him. That is why he was on TV, because he earned it. RIP John, you did good in this life.Comment

I remember when Salisbury called him the crypt keeper on live TV and then got fired for showing pics of his junk to coworkers. I always appreciated that small contribution to removing a colossal dickhead from TV. RIP Clayton, I always enjoyed your reporting.Comment

I could only imagine the pain of trading the equivalent to Elway to a former division foe. I know the hawks left years ago, but it doesn't seem like it.
