Facebook sure seems like a monopoly -- perhaps Congress should consider reviving the Sherman Antitrust Act.

One of the few things both sides agree on. I would be very afraid if I was one of the big social media companies. I think most people agree social media is a net negative on society and dangerous to kids. If we are allowed to hold them accountable for the stuff that is posted on their sites the problem will fix it's self real quick. They would all have to pull a porn hub and delete everything that is not verified one way or another.

How do you think Shellback's protest of the companies giving money for their workers to get abortions is going?

I'm sure the Disney boycott has decimated their stock value by now, hasn't it?

Disney+ for like $6 a month is a good deal. Lots of good movies on there! That's cheaper than a night to the local theater.

I still greatly worry about physical media disappearing with the streaming giants in control. Has already been a big problem.

Are you saying I shouldn't sell DVD's for a quarter each at my rummage sale in a few weeks? 🤠

Lol the music will survive. A lot of movies are ****ed though. I use most of the streaming services but I’ve never liked that they can take a movie out of my watchlist days after I put it there and I don’t know when I’ll find it again. DVDs are great.

I've got over a half dozen totes of DVDs and VHS tapes that I have no use for. I figured selling them that cheap would be doing people who don't utilize streaming services a favor. I'm also going through and cataloging my whole record collection and might end up selling most of it off as well. It's just taking up space and I'm not utilizing it most of it. Not exactly something I'd want to put in a U-Haul down the road.

Wait until almost everything is digital and we have a Carrington event.
