Schefter's Tweet basically saying the truth came out was cringe worthy. Just because a Grand Jury opted not to bring charges against him doesn't mean there wasn't some sort of bad activity going on at any point in time. Glad Paton didn't go that route and went for RW3.Comment

I’ve gone on record with this ever since the allegations came out. Watson is a creepy mother ****er and has serious issues. I’d rather root for Lock than to root for Watson. I wouldn’t have “run away” from being a Broncos fan, but would have likely “stepped away” from my commitment to this sport if Watson had become our QB.
Im a father of sons, not daughters, but Watson’s predatory behavior just turns my stomach. It would be very hard to cheer for him, knowing who he is behind the scenes. That’s just my personal opinion.Comment

The burden of proof for criminal charges and conviction is much higher than for a civil lawsuit. He will still end up paying out millions of dollars to settle many, if not all of the lawsuits. Then there is the looming NFL suspension. In conclusion, I’m happy with the way things worked out. 😀Comment

BTW, Paton did not panic, quite the contrary. All reports are saying that Rodgers & Wilson were Paton’s two QB’s from the very beginning, and was doing his homework on them for months. In fact if he didn’t get either one, then he may have looked at Watson, but THAT move would have been the panic move.
