Personally, I think the dude has killed it in his first two seasons. Nailed his first draft: Patrick Surtain, Javonte Williams, Quinn Meinerz, Baron Browning, Caden Sterns, Jonathon Cooper) That is two legit probowlers in the making one potentially foundational interior o-line piece, promising ILB, surprisingly good Safety, and a 7th round sweetener for our Defensive line. Jesus that is a hell of a draft.
Then, didn't kneejerk his first season in charge and let things play out. Saw that the team wasn't going anywhere under Fangio, in spite of our early cupcake wins, and managed to snag a second round selection for half a season of Von Miller.
And now, we are set at the QB position for at least the next 5 years. Possibly more if our O-line can come together and keep Wilson clean and healthy. And while the price was steep, it wasn't an overpay and we still have a really solid amount of draft capital in 2022 to continue improving the team. So, he managed to get us a huge upgrade at the QB position without mortgaging our future.
