    Denver Broncos (3-0) vs. Baltimore Ravens (2-1)



    Starting this thread a little bit early since I'll be out pocket early to mid-afternoon tomorrow!

    It's been a while since Broncos fans have been as excited about the team as they are now. After three strong victories, Denver turns their eye toward a competitive Baltimore squad. The Broncos will have their hands full against Lamar Jackson, but will also have to worry about Baltimore's defensive front seven, in particular Denver native Calais Campbell, who could be a game-wrecker against a ho-hum Broncos interior offensive line.

    The Broncos will enjoy home field advantage and a raucous crowd. This is a game most fans probably marked as a surefire 'L' on the schedule heading into the year, but with Teddy Bridgewater's quality play and a light's out effort by Denver's defense to date, the boys in orange and blue have a legitimate shot tomorrow.

    Four wins in a row would be a great way to start the season, but Broncos fans know what it's like to see their team start off hot and miss the playoffs. Yes, we're talking about you Josh McDaniels. Can the Broncos avoid another Rahim Moore level catastrophe and win on Sunday? You'll just have to tune in to find out!

      I think it’s 3 points or less margin of victory for either team. This one looks to be about protecting the ball and not making big mistakes.

      I feel like the Broncos will get this one. 27-24

            FWIIW, the Madden simulator had the score 28-7 Broncos with the defense getting 3 picks, and Surtain getting 2 of them. Gordon had a nice day also.

              I’m looking forward to watching this game. It’s the best team the Broncos have faced this year. It should be a good barometer on how competitive this team will be this season.

                Love the football lineup today. It’s like a football holiday. A Chiefs loss & Broncos victory would be sweet!

                          Agree, but hope we’re both wrong! I think we’ll struggle to run the ball and TB won’t be good enough to overcome it this time.

                            The first down bottled up no gainers will look ugly today.

                            7 starters out and they can beat Jags Giants etc. but Ravens are on another level. Hope we wrong too. If they do win then it’s legit excitement for something coming along real well. If it’s a loss it’s going to be harder to judge since so many are injured, and it comes back down to earth a bit on the playoff talk(assuming more injuries still happening)

                              Yeah I felt a little better about this before the Risner news. I think it could be a great game but it feels like the Ravens have more paths to a win than we do, we need a pretty perfect game IMO. But that’s why they play the game, they could beat us 7 or 8 / 10 times, we just need to steal one at home.

                                Trial by fire for Meinerz and Muti going up against a pretty formidable Ravens front seven. That's largely my biggest concern for the game. Calais Campbell might be stealing a lot of people's lunch boxes today.

                                            How come Jackson has been hurting this past week, but today he is a super, superman who will run for 200 yards? How come Bell, who just joined team, and has been average past year, will also run for 100 yards today? I just don't think the Broncos - this year - are a team of chopped livers.

                                                this isn’t about them being good or bad. It’s about injuries that have piled up and will continue to pile up.

                                                this team does not suck anymore. Healthy they are a playoff team. But sooner or later injuries tilt the scale.


                                                by week 17 it’ll be the teams with the most health finishing at the line.
