Carson Wentz?

If Frank Reich, the guy under whom Wentz looked so good in Philadelphia, is done with Wentz, he is most certainly not a guy you want. I suppose he’d be marginally better than Teddy Bridgewater, so if he gets cut you maybe take a shot with him if you have absolutely no other options. But let’s hope and pray it doesn’t come to that. I’d probably rather see what Lock could do with the new coaching staff.

Don’t worry it ain’t happening because this team no longer the Denver Elways!

If even the Colts with Reich and a good roster gives up on Wentz after one season, he obviously should be one of the options to not be considered. And it can't be simply his production even if he had the help from a strong running game. Wentz's stats look fine for his 1st year in Indy. Not elite, but also not 'trade or release' bad. It has to be something about his personality, how he interacts with his teammates, leadership issues, something the Broncos should not want at the QB position. Paton will certainly try to find out what's going on there.

I think it has to do with his horrific play when trailing by 1 score or less in the 4th Q of games over his career....he has a QB rating or QBR ....wichiever....of something like 2.5 (yes, it's that low) He completely up and disintegrates when you need him to do something...anything...he isn't up to it. ...and from what I've heard...blames EVERYONE else, coaches, players, anyone but him...for it.
