  • NFL is driving the bus on Broncos sale…

    Terrible luck for the Broncos.

Goodell and co are meddling in the sale.

Minority ownership is all but assuredly assured.

The needs of the Broncos are secondary to the needs of the nfl.

Whoever the owners want to join the ‘inner circle” will join.

The Broncos risk being a social justice team as their priority vs a winning football club

Ownership should have one singular purpose, but external factors make the new ownerships priorities much different.

    Sorry Mr. B…

It was a good run but I don’t see myself rooting for the team if they make the ownership all political and that nonsense.

I thought you don’t watch football anymore because of anthem protests years ago. It would be a shame if you were betraying your values and watching the Broncos (lose a lot) all this time… 🇺🇸

And you prefer the Bowlen’s bitch fest to a solid owner…

Kraft and Goodell should mind their own business, but that involves paying for BJs and helping to cover that up. Talk about trying to trying to improve the image of the product. Hypocritical, much?

NFL will always meddle in ownership. It's an exclusive club. Deal with it.

The Bowlen Trust has final say on who the next owner is and I'd be surprised if the Bowlen clan takes anything less than top dollar for the Broncos. I'm not sure how Kraft can be involved at all, that in and of itself is a conflict of interest, no? I smell a huge lawsuit if Goodell and Kraft somehow manipulate the sale in order to get the outcome they want instead of what's best for the Bowlen family... we shall see...

I mean, why wait until we know who the new owner’s going to be before we start the meltdown? 😂

The sad part is NFL and Kraft asking him to be the owner so that they can claim that NFL is diversified.

If they are so concerned, Roger Goodell and Kraft should lead as an example

Kraft is on the Chairman Committee, he advised on the Kroenke/Rams sale as well.

The Trust has a fiduciary responsibility to accept the highest bid but the NFL has to approve the sale as well, whoever wins the bid still needs 3/4 of the owners approval.

What bothers me more is Goodell planning on expanding the league to 40 teams with international "branches." We don't have enough good QBs for the teams that already exist.

I hope Peyton and his group buys the team. But that would be racist

But Kraft DOES set the example of celebrating diversity…..by visiting all those Asian rub n’ tug places. He doesn’t care what race the poor woman giving him a happy ending is. 😜

The bidding process should be fair and 100% non-racist, but Goodell says it should be fixed.

So, if we have a minority owner then we should get comp picks right? Isn’t that how this works? If a minority OC nets a third I’m thinking a first will do.

I thought simply the highest bidder would buy the team? I can see where the NFL tries to push minority ownership bidders to bid on ownership of the team, but if some bored billionaire has the highest bid, he wins ownership, right? I thought that by law had to take the highest bid, to maximize profit for current owners.

This is what it comes down to, and everything else is lip service. The trusts job is to maximize profits on sale. The NFL would prefer a minority ownership , however its going to be sold to whomever bids the highest, period.

The league can overrule and go with the next highest bidder if their offer is more sound. It happened with the Panthers. I can't remember exact details but the highest bidder had to take out loans and basically had more debt than Tepper. So it will definitely be interesting if Allen is not the highest bidder but is awarded the team anyways. That would raise eyebrows.

The recent story was to let other bidders know what RG is looking for in a new owner of the Broncos. Likely hurt their sale price IMO.

This was always going to be the problem.

Don’t get the best person….just get the right skin color.

so instead of the best out of a pool of owners, it’s just the best out of a fraction of that pool.

Decades of disaster coming with this approach unless broncos get lucky.
