  • New stadium in the offing?

Assuming the Broncos aren't moved by the new owner.

If the Broncos want a new stadium they can pay for it themselves

Don't say that, they'll want PSLs

Because the Bowlen Tax was a ripoff.

Seems like the best time to float the idea to the taxpayers would have been, I don’t know, say, right after Super Bowl L?

Is what ever our stadium is named now somehow not good enough? Why would we need a new stadium?

It'll happen in the next decade. Mile High is going on 22 years old. They'll probably want one with a roof to host Super Bowls. Probably build it south of Castle Rock...nobody wants to go downtown anymore.

It's old and decrepit and not up to NFL ownership standards. Just like what Bowlen said back in 1998, extorting a stadium from taxpayers.

Do you live in Denver? If not, who cares about your opinion. It was on a ballot, and the majority voted for it.

PS - it's owned by the city of Denver and only managed by a subsidiary of the Broncos.

Call it what it was - corporate welfare gained via extortion. Too bad the fans couldn't see fit to pay for it themselves.

PS - PDB Ltd. gets nearly all revenue from anything at the stadium. The deal is incredibly one-sided.

"San Antonio Broncos" has a really nice ring to it.

Socialism for the rich - private enterprise for everyone else.

                            It's the "conservative" way.

Slap some solar panels on it. Say it's for savin' the planet.

These guys will be arguing over how many billions should be subsidized.

Put a nuclear reactor under the stands and the fans will line up for miles to get toasty buns.

After only 22 years build a multi billion dollar stadium and put it in a distant suburb?

                                    that plan sounds suspect….

Just upgrade it with nice seating and TVs. TVS everywhere! Make Draft Kings pay for it.

The purpose of a stadium is to profit the ownership. That taxpayers will be conned into paying for it makes it scummy.

Not since SoFi in L.A. Now, all the other owners have stadium envy and I guess Kroenke is swaggering around with BDE.

I don't know what that thing in Vegas is. Looks like Darth Vader's chamber pot.

It's just my opinion, but I think a new owner will want those things, but I think the Broncos will be in Mile High for at least the next 8 years

There’s nothing wrong with the current venue other than the residing NFL team needs to start winning more games.
