Complete and utter bullshit. My wife is an Aussie, her dad has stage 4 cancer and it is next to impossible for her to get home. Tickets are starting to come back to normal, they were over 15K for economy for over a year for a limited supply. Then you have to stay in a hotel room for 2 weeks with no visitors. There were over 40,000 Aussie stuck outside the country unable to get home for over a year. Can you imagine if the US pulled that crap. If you had money for a ticket but the country you call home said no thanks. This incident will leave a lasting impression on me. I used to think we would retire over there, not so sure about that now.
