  • Possibility of Rodgers to Denver

Now that Hackett is your HC, it can only help the cause to bring Rodgers to Denver.

    Do you want him?

What would you be willing to pay?

If he comes, what are your expectations in 2022?

Don’t give a shit about Rodgers

but if he wants to play in denver like manning did then sure. Come through. Bring your buddy Dvante Adams with you

Yes & Yes & it's way too early for 2022 expectations.

Right now I'd say 7-10 unless we get a solid QB, sign some decent free agents, have a nice Draft, stay healthy in training camp and in the preseason. If that all happens & the QB is Rodgers than we're contenders for the Super Bowl.

Of course, any team would be stupid to not accept what is possibly the two time MVP as their QB. I'll take a few years of Rodgers and our young receiving corps. Even if our D drops a few spots, we could easily have a top 5 O and a top 10 D - that's a formula for a playoff contender.

I’d say compensation would be similar to what Rams gave for Stafford. At least as a starting place.

I do think one of two things will happen. Either Rodgers decides to retire (not forced by GB), or he come to Denver. GB has a ridiculously bad cap situation. Denver is 6th and GB is 31st out the 32 teams. While the cap is partly an illusion that teams can get around, I don't know how they would pull that off. So GB won't force him to retire to call his bluff, because the problem is on GBs side this time. So I could see them trading to get some capital and fix their cap situation.

Denver on the flip side has oodles of cap space and loads of young players. And Hackett. And his GF lives in Boulder. I can't imagine a better situation for Rodgers to go into, except for our line. But if our team focuses on our line this offseason, maybe pick up a solid free agent and draft someone maybe even in the 2nd round, it will be fine.

We have to make the strong play for Rodgers. If not him, someone else. We can't rely on the draft.

Rogers lands in Denver, just a question of how much. 2 firsts and a third is plenty. Jeudy for Adams straight across.

I sure would hate to see Jeudy go. He's our best receiver and the only one with star talent. But overall, I'd do the deal. Send Lock as well.

It will be very interesting to see the package. Green Bay will try to soak us for what they can. But, they told Rogers they’d trade him.

I'll be curious to see Hackett's analysis of Lock.

It's all about the compensation involved. Sure, this would be a great move for the team at the right price. All our young guys would learn how to really play offense, so it increases the value of the receiver contracts we've just signed also. This maximizes gains on investment, so its a great decision if GB can be reasonable.

Rodgers in Denver could bump up the sale price for the team.

Jeudy would have a record breaking kind of year if Rodgers was his QB.

Ugh I didn't think Rodgers would go to another team, but now........we could get him. Still think it would cost too much for him to play just a couple years.

Be nice to see what the playoffs felt like, again. I think Rodgers/Wilson/Watson gives the Broncos a legitimate shot at winning it all.

Sutton, Patrick, and Adams wouldn’t be a bad consolation prize.

His offensive line coach as O-coordinator and then hire Evero as defensive coordinator while most likely keeping the defensive coaching staff in tact
