We learned over the weekend from insider Ian Rapoport that Paton whittled the list down to three 'finalists': namely, Green Bay Packers OC Nathaniel Hackett, Dallas Cowboys DC Dan Quinn, and Los Angeles Rams OC Kevin O'Connell.
Wolfe wasn’t wrong this time. But his predictions weren’t that crazy. All three of these candidates had already been speculated on for the Broncos HC job.
And I maintain that Wolfe’s inside source that keeps giving him tips is his pet goldfish.

He's got a little fish bowl goldfish-sized desk for these hot tips to come across.
I like the chances of Kevin O'Connell considering that he impressed to the point of joining Hackett and Quinn as finalists, can't be interviewed for a second time yet in a process that Paton is taking slowly and there's potential for a strong and freshest impression if he gets the last interview. Also, Paton has to be looking at the remaining teams in the playoffs with Shanahan, McVay and Taylor as head coaches, wondering if O'Connell can replicate that style.

I agree. I think it's O'Connell and would love the hire!
