  • Name the top five accomplishments of the last five Presidents

Ok, we'll see who trolls and who wants to have a serious conversation.

Red or blue, we should all be able to point to good things that Presidents have done.

So, name the top five things that each of the last five have done (five for five sounded good, but list top three if you struggle to come up with top five of an "opposition" President):

    Biden
    Trump
    Obama
    Bush
    Clinton

I'll try and post tomorrow. Not an easy task, R or D, IMO.

Obama’s best accomplishment: allowed men into the woman’s bathroom

        Thanks Obama!

Harder than I thought this would be.

          Obama:
          1. Bin Laden killed on his watch. He ordered the strike.
          2. He and Michelle's inititatives with school meals and such to help out kids who's only reliable meals are at school
          3. Supported (or stopped feds from fighting) same sex married couples getting death and other benefits (while I'm somewhat ambivalent on "marriage", I've always felt same sex couples need to get the same insurance and other benefits of Hetero couples)
          4. His work on changing sentencing guidelines for drug offenders, is a mixed bag, but I do think something needed to be done. Not sure if his/Dems solution was perfect, but it needed change. Trump took it even further with a bipartisan bill.
          5. Didn't keep is promise to immediately close Guantanamo, even though it was a campaign promise. While he might have still made some questionable releases, I give him credit for the fact that after taking office, and likely being privvy to more info than when he was trying to win votes, he didn't just immediately shut it down like he promised.

I think Obama should get more credit for rescinding that darn Bandito law that had cops pulling people over on the highways looking for cash seizures. Or at least I think that was him.

Perhaps Trump’s greatest accomplishment was surrounding himself with more lowlifes than any POTUS in history!

For Biden it would have to be negative accomplishments, he really has not done a single thing that is constructive as far as I am concerned. Maybe he will prompt cognitive tests for Pres. candidates going forward or force Presidents to hold more public unscripted debates on policies. We will revisit things that have been worked out in the past, things such as you don't keep spending when there is inflation and it will be a good history lesson.

Then you must disagree with Republican Representatives on the infrastructure legislation -- they're now bragging and claiming credit for it despite voting against it.

They’re trying to walk a tightrope and inflate the debt away. It won’t work, but I don’t see a better option.

I mean, yes, the correct option is to cut/remove welfare and spending, but no politician can do that and live to tell about it.

Because we live in a corrupt democracy. So given those constraints, is there a less shitty option?

Trump’s only accomplishment is that he didn’t launch the nukes.

Tned, Every year Congress put in the NDAA and Defense Budget language that prevent the use of funds to close Gitmo and move the inmates to the US.

Raise taxes MASSIVELY on the rich. https://www.theguardian.com/news/202...ve-it-all-away

Disney worries that society risks slipping back into a “Dickensian world” unless the really rich realise “we are all humans at the end of the day, and we need to look after each other. You know, these billionaires are modern-day, miserly Ebenezer Scrooges. Because they are looking straight at Tiny Tim and saying: ‘No, **** you, I won’t pay for your crutches,’” she says. “It may sound extreme, but they really are.”
