Holy mackerel - talk about a huge bite out of what was already a giant crap sandwich of a football season. 👎🏻😢

Was a great coach. He brought us John Elway and took us to 3 Super Bowls in his 12 years. May he R.I.P.

Winning is hard in the NFL. He didn't win it all, but definitely still a winner in the grand scheme and in life.

                    RIP Dan.

His years as coach were great years and some of my favorites. I did have issues with his choices towards the end of his reign but it did not take away from the whole of his years. Just not a great year for the Broncos and it continues with his death. That team in heaven is developing quite nicely. RIP Coach Reeves

He should be in the HOF. If Levy is in there, so should Reeves.

I really liked Reeves. He gave Denver and the Broncos recognition and legitimacy as being more than just a few bars and cow dust. I consider that the history of the Broncos started with him, not Sabin or Ralston, even though the latter gave us the first winning season. Reeves gave us much more than just a vision.

                          RIP, Coach.

There definitely was accountability when Reeves coached unlike this current mess.

Once in 1984, he fleeced myself and Gary Yates of $1 each.

People were sitting around before practice talking, and he was yakkin about how he fished when he was a kid.... catfish, grouper and turbo.

Gary and I didn't believe there was such a fish as a "turbo," in fact none of the 6 or 8 people hanging around did.

He just laughed and offered a wager .... DAMN.

He wouldn't take our dollars though ... 🦈🐋🐬🐠🐟

Might be the most underrated, under appreciated coach in Broncos history. He was a disciplinarian that left no rock unturned in preparation. Came from the Tom Landry tree in that regard. However, stubborn to a fault, he handcuffed Elway with his “Cowboy” offense that he didn’t innovate from. Was gifted a promising young & bright offensive mind in Mike Shanahan, but kept him constrained also. The rift between Reeves & Elway was real, but they respected each other and won a lot of games together.

Despite his faults, he was a class act all the way, and certainly deserves to be in the HOF. If they can put in a Marv Levy in, who I thought had an overall much more talented team, they should put in Reeves. Reeves proved with the Giants & Falcons that he didn’t need a John Elway at QB to win.

                                          RIP coach.
