  • Broncos are #1 IN THE NFL IN .....

    ..... fewest points allowed!

    Yup. Tied with Patriots:
    .
    . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . PA ..... . .Remaining
    Denver Broncos . 260 . . . @SD, KC
    N. E. Patriots . . .. . 260 . . .Jax, @Mia
    Buffalo Bills . . . . .. 264 . . . .Atl, NYJ
    ----------------
    - Next - . . . .. .. . ... 305

    .

The schedule is NOT favorable to finishing #1, but even #2 or 3 would be a nice lure for Rodgers, Wilson, Watson, Cousins, Ryan ....

  • #2
Josh vs Pat is the reason why NE’s path worked and Denver’s did not.both relativity the same type of team. NE plus 7 in turnovers Den plus 3

sad Vic cant see the issue

    who was Jones throwing to?

Fangio just plays 4 corners football. If you don’t defend the run and play a shell you will keep scores down. Big deal.

#1 Scoring Defense given the injuries and issues stopping the run [and without a consistent pass rush] is pretty much a gridiron miracle. Even more impressive considering how doo doo the offense is at scoring and sustaining meaningful drives. The secondary has done a really good job this season. It's still not good enough to keep Vic and Co. around.

Any semblance of an offense and this season might have been a lot different. Crap quarterbacks and poor play calling killed any chance of this year’s team making the playoffs. Defense was suspect in a few games, too. I would not mind seeing what a new group of coaches could do, especially after addressing the quarterback situation. It’s time for Paton to earn his paycheck.

I've been impressed with what the young guys on defense gave done. That being said, many times stats are deceiving. When Broncos offense isn't doing anything, the other team jumps to a lead, and Denver plays bend don't break defense, the other team is content to just play conservative and play the field position game because they aren't afraid of check down Teddy.

Also, they have had a very favorable schedule with fans against some of the worst teams and offenses in the nfl. They have played 5 teams with a worse offense than they have scoring wise...

Defense wasn't very good the first 5-6 hashes of the season. Certainly not as good as it should have been.

Other teams are content to run out the clock and beat us 10-15. Because our offense is a broken scheme that was never good before it broke. And our D bends over all the way to the RedZone. So yeah they don't score much on us. Only enough to beat us almost every damn time.

Did you see Sutton lined up as an in-line TE with a 3 point stance while Saubert and Albert O we're standing available on the sidelines? That's because Fangio hand picked Shurmer and keeps both him and MacMahon on as coordinators. So that's on Fangio too. Just like the losses to teams that we should have beaten.

Fangio and his chicken shit for stats and losses D can kick rocks along with Shurmer's stupid face right on out the door. Old Idiot is a worse HC than Radio. Remember he isn't our DC, if he was then he would deserve praise. Fangio sucks as a HC though and is responsible for Shurmer and Teddy and all the losses.

I'm not riding the fence. The Broncos need a new coaching staff. Denver is on their way to another losing season. Time for a change.

                            This one’s easy.

opponents know they only need 17 points to beat Denver….opponents love how denver eats up clock on failed 20 play drives.

since when does the broncos fanbase celebrate mediocrity? Nothing about this season is a success. Not one aspect. Every team has injuries. Every team has covid. The good teams win the bad teams have losing seasons.

                                Was Req arguing though?

Seems more like Req just being Req and talking about the color blue instead of the sky. And Shell arguing that that's not the picture or veiwpoint she's seeing with someone that likes to rain man out on details to the point that they end up in arguments where no one is really wrong but no one is really right either. One is like "the sky is that way because..." The other one is like "No that's the color blue you are pointing at."

in the end, the Broncos sky is falling and Blues is the music broncos fans need.

                                              it was a half joke.

But some of those High powered offenses who went passive and clock watched. Especially LV. Chargers and Dallas didn’t for obvious reasons, they were stopped.

The statement : teams only need 17 points to beat Denver applies to many many games. it’s not false.

People want to give Fangio a pass cause decent defense…..yet HEs the biggest reason Offense/STs suck cause he continues to ignore the 2 biggest problems there. No Shurmur and maybe this team has a different record. With Shurmur they 100% own this record. And that’s Fangios fault. Fangio is NOT an HC. He’s a DC pretending to be HC. It’s why so many basic HC errors happen every game 3 years into it. It’s also why no other team would hire Fangio to HC in decades.
