Super hard to prognosticate this team. The optimist view is that the talent has improved at least a little, that the coaching has improved a lot, and that the schedule is somewhat favorable, so this team should be better then .500. The pessimist view is that there are still roster holes and depth concerns, and that injuries have hit again, so they’ll be sub .500. I chose to lean slightly positive and go with 9 wins, and hope they can do even a little better. But my confidence in hitting this target is not high.Comment

Based off of injures (Jeudy and Tim Patrick)
O-Line questions (Bolles and Powers looking bad overall and Mike McGlinchey already banged up) and what I think will be a bit of the VJ effect on defense I'm revising my prediction from 9ish wins to 7ish wins.
I think Payton is going to try and Jake Plummer Russ to the playoffs through a lot of run heavy sets, simplified concepts, play action and pocket movement and it's not going to work with the amount of good teams in the AFC.
7-10 and team moves on from Russ at the end of the year.

I see 9 pretty decent chance losses on that schedule, playing a stacked AFC East doesn't help. I had them splitting with the Fade and Chuggs in the Divvy too...Comment
