    I wonder what the asking price for Kyler Murray could be.

    The Cardinals were already in tank mode before the recent trades they made in the past couple days...they are going to be incredibly well positioned to move on from Murray if they want to, and take Caleb Williams or Maye. Murray is now on a team that no longer has the coaches or the FO that invested in him.

    The Broncos may well find themselves in a spot where Russ is cooked, they don't have resources or a placement in the draft to get a young cheap, viable franchise QB.

    The Cardinals will be well positioned to eat Murrays dead cap hit.

    Murray is young and has been very good from time to time.

    There would seem to be a scenario where the Broncos need for a QB would line up with the Cardinals desire to move on from Murray.

      Russ will play better this year going with precedent under Payton. Name a QB that didn't look good playing in Payton's offense? Brees, Bridgewater, and Winston all looked really good. Payton even made those big QBs that would be 3rd string on any other team look decent when playing in games (forgot the names). I'm expecting a good year from Russ and for him to play out his contract as long as Payton is the coach and an injury doesn't happen.

              I'd let him play for the broncos....on Madden. Which is about all he's good at. Oh wait, throwing temper tantrums. He's a little bitch.

                  meh, I'd be patient and wait for a shot to take a rookie in the draft. The Broncos probably aren't relevant for a few more years anyway.

                                                  Lock is looking phenomenal. I would not be at all surprised if he ended up starting some games and the Seahawks went with him long term. He has turned the corner for sure.

                                                                                  Joke thread aside, I'd rather have Trey Lance than Kyler Murray. Lance still has some upside to be developed and is known for having strong character. Murray already is damaged goods with some playing ability, but not enough to warrant his diva personality that set the Cardinals on tanking mode for either Caleb Williams or Drake Maye.

                                                                                  As bowtown mentioned, Murray and Sean Payton would never work.
