Do you agree with this YouTuber's prediction about why Mims is the 2nd best WR from this past draft class? Whether it ends up being true or not the hype train is fun to board lol

I had Mims as the 4th WR.
He's definitely a guy that fell to us. Even if we jumped to get him.
He's a burner. But he got way more tough than I saw out of Hamler's college tape. He's got an Emanuel Sanders level of tough little guy feeling about him but that's out of college. Hopefully he shows that in the pros too.

On the day, I thought it was a steal for us. Still do...

I agree. Maybe teams just got PTSD from his older brother faceplanting.

So far he’s not even as good as all the undrafted rookies in the league who have actually played in a preseason game.

I mean, if the kid in the red cowboy hat cuddling with his warm Minky Couture blanky while sitting in his bedroom in his parents' house says he's good, it's good enough for me!

            😀

I kid. Welcome to the Orange Huddle! I hope you stick around.

Thanks for the welcome! I admit I wasn’t expecting much opening the video but the analysis was really solid haha

Yeah. I almost think there might be an Asperger's type of thing going on there. What he says and how he says it does not match my expectation.

If hope he can stay healthy, he was every bit as electrifying at Oklahoma as Cee Dee Lamb

Yeah that’s my point. If he’s not healthy and on the field it doesn’t matter how much talent he has. He’s automatically worse than any guy actually playing. Tired of tiny receivers who are always hurt.

In hindsight, Hamler is a guy who really should've stayed in college another year or two.

I can't believe a rookie who missed most of camp didn't go off in his first game.

Payton was singing his praises and that he was ready to fill Jeudy’s shoes if need be all week.

It’s not his fault Russ didn’t throw him the ball or the gamelan was what it was

Puzzling why they didn't have him stretch the defense.

They let Crosby dictate the playcalling short quick throws because they were scared of the passrush and it’s not what Russ does best

Mims is Hamler's replacement. Not Jeudy's...

He's a burner. Wilson can boot out and hit him way down the field. But that's about all Wilson can do to use him. He can't hit Jack short or intermediate over the middle without getting his receiver squished. He can't see over the pocket without a 7 step drop and by then our line plus two ****ing TEs can't stop rushers from making him run. By then burner gets closed on by safety help. And Wilson dumps off to a tortoise.

Stidham would make Mims look like he needs a better QB. Wilson will drop him to anonymity.

The dude is only 21 years old and played in 1 game, after missing most of camp and preseason.

Should probably give him some time before tossing him under the bus

Bingo! But let’s not get in the way of the “experts” who can determine a players worth after their first game.

Wilson's a vet and he does vet things but he's still too short and too slow on processing.

I'm ready for a 1st round QB that is on is way toward his ceiling not a vet that is redefining his floor.
