    2024 QB for Denver

    Who will it be? Does Russ redeem himself?

    Does Stidham take over and solidify himself as the 2024 starter?

    Does Denver end up in position to draft a guy?

    Or trade for / sign a vet?

    Not that I think this will happen, but................ Drew Lock only signed back up for 1 year in Seattle. I still think there is something viable there with a good coach. Would be wild if he were back in Denver.

      Russ era needs to end and be forgotten. Caleb or Drake, whichever ones stock rises the most because this roster and staff is destine for 1st overall

                      So has Payton ever failed with a QB? Brees, Bridewater, Winston, ... all played well. Is there a QB that flamed out with the Saints during Payton's time? I can't think of one. I think I'd go with precedent and say Russ is going to play decent this year. Payton is going to get him moving around more when the season starts. He is dangerous outside the pocket and can throw well on the move.

                              I think Russ gets back on track this year and is still the guy in 2024. I'm optimistic so I'm I'm hoping for 10 wins this year.

                              I do however want a QB for Payton to groom in the draft. Next year's class is looking good past just Williams and Maye.

                              My #3 QB in this class right now a guy I was extremely negative about in the past but maybe his former team and coaching was just that bad.

                              Bo Nix looked like a completely different QB last year at Oregon, he cleaned up his footwork and with that his accuracy improved. 71% completions last year while his avg attempt was 2 yards further. Hes also got ideal mobility. With another season like last year he could definitely end up a early 1st round pick.

                              Outside of those 3 you still have Pennix Jr, KJ Jefferson, Cam Ward, Van Dyke, Jordan Travis, Jayden Daniel's, Sam Hartman, Cam Rising

                              The guy I'm most excited to see though is Joe Milton. He's taking over a high powered offense and looked good in the games he started last season. I want to see them unleash the cannon. If he has a heisman candidate type of season he could end up a 1st round pick as well.

                                  You are failing to acknowledge that our current GM can’t find a quarterback who’s worth anything. I don’t trust him to draft a franchise quarterback.

                                                  I think Russ makes strides this year and regains form. He had way too much pressure way too quick on Friday. He was running around quite a bit. I think the O Line will sure things up and become a dominant unit. But we wont be able to see that until beginning of the season. McGlinchey didnt play so I think he will help out.

                                                            I saw enough from Russ last year to believe he still has some good football left with the right coaching and personnel. I still believe. GO BRONCOS!!!! 😎👍🏻

                                                                                      We'll likely move on from Wilson but I will say with Payton I at least feel very confident about QB development.
