Time to pick up the phone with one of the UDFAs from Rookie Camp tryouts…

            Did we sign PJ Mustipher?

Oh hell, it gives those who stick up for VJ a convenient excuse for failure.

You have wonder what these players use for brains.

24 year old rookie with NFL size and showed nothing.

I’m glad the Broncos don’t have to waste time with this pick anymore. I was afraid of this guy getting rotation snaps. Easy to replace and upgrade, they just need to do it.

This will help VJ, it ensures at least one CFL-caliber talent won’t ever have to step on the field for his defense.

Okay so what changed? Uwazurike couldn’t play. How exactly did him being there help prevent the DL from being a dumpster fire.

                          Should we call Shelby Harris?

Absolutely. Not what he was in 2019-20 but certainly playable in a rotation.

Harsh assessment but true. He didn't look good last year and Henningsen outplayed him. With Purcell recovering (he is always hurt) and EU done for the year, they need to sign a veteran with legit NFL reps under his belt. They were still short on replacing DeShawn Williams' snaps last year based on moves to date. Gonna need some help up there for sure.

Yeah Hennigsen looked promising at times, that’s good news. I haven’t looked at the FA list but finding a run plugger who can give the team 200-300 snaps shouldn’t be tough.

A guy like Uwazurike in the late Day 2 - early Day 3 range usually gets an extra year after proving to be useless and then you waste more time developing him + not looking at other options, so this is ultimately a good thing for the Broncos IMO

Extremely disappointed with Uwazurike, I had feeling that he had chance to be Hicks kinda DE/DT after a couple of years of NFL development.

He had a lot of experience at Iowa State. Made some big strides his final year. But sixth-year guys who still lack good pad level and strength at the POA (especially relative to their peers several years younger) in the trenches are always worrisome. Red Flag. Felt like his floor was relatively safe as a back-up guy at the very least worth 1/3 of the reps at an NFL level by his second or third season. He won't play this one. Probably gets cut eventually.

What a dumb ass. If he was stupid enough to bet on NFL games (as a player), I’m glad he is gone. It’s pretty slim pickings for DL free agents right now. I’m sure they will be scouring the waiver wire.

If they gotta trade for someone legitimate do it.

Him, Wormley, and Ioannidis are maybe best available.

People forget that Hicks sucked in NO. There is talent there no matter what you think.

He was actually my favorite pick in that draft, I thought he could start immediately with the size and experience.

It took…not many preseason snaps at all to realize he wasn’t gonna make it.
