Cannot WAIT for this movie .....

Christopher Nolan has a warning for anyone purchasing “Oppenheimer” tickets: The film might emotionally destroy you. Speaking to Wired magazine in a new interview, Nolan said that some early “Oppenheimer” viewers have had a visceral reaction to the film, which follows theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer (Cillian Murphy) as he creates the atomic bomb to […]

Opens in IMAX and Dolby theaters July 21

"NOW I AM BECOME DEATH The DESTROYER of WORLDS"

Not a horror movie, but rather a psychological biography of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the genius physicist who, during WWII, oversaw the United States' Manhattan Project that created the world's first nuclear weapons.

Oppenheimer was thoughtful, socially aware, and he struggled with the uncertainty of what long-term far-flung effects would attach to his work. During his Manhattan Project years in New Mexico, his interests ranged from teaching himself Sanskrit, to in-depth explorations of Mysticism, to study of Hindu scriptures from the Bhagavad Gita, which he read in their original Sanskrit.

After WWII, he was horrified by a popular moniker he was tagged with: "Father of the Atomic Bomb."

Where do you think they got the idea for a super weapon from? Why do you think there was so much interest in ancient archeology in the late 1800/early1900s? --> They uncovered texts that describe how to build nuclear weapons. That's why there was a race to build a nuclear bomb in WW2. Engineering had finally developed enough to build such a weapon.

Why the interest in learning Sanskrit? If you want to open your mind,,there's some wild stories from the ancient Gods. The prophet religions however are completely different which dominate the globe today.

Edit: Nothing personnel, But sad that a lawyer doesn't know where law comes from.

You feeling ok? I would at least expect a "you shame so ..." 😀. I should have expanded, it's a shame that so much history has been hidden from us. But yeah, nuclear weapons is discussed in detail in Sanskrit. -- Pakistan and India don't have running water but they have nuclear weapons. Go figure.

Of course not, no atomic/nuclear weapons are discussed in the the Bhagavad Gita, his interest in mysticism and Sanskrit were likely unrelated to his work. Unless they set forth some ethical or life philosophy he might have been drawn to as a counterpoint to the practical horror of his creation.

He spoke several languages I think, not just Sanskrit

You don't think we can build a pyramid so therefore von Däniken is correct.

You're missing about 2,000-3,000 steps to prove yourself right. Get started:

FWIW, I think it is poured concrete. The guys that pushed the narrative that slaves pulled those stones in place is pretty laughable. Still the popular opinion in academia today I believe.

As for Sanskirt writings and Jewish beliefs...that's you crapping on them not me. Cause I suspect the same guys that gave us the lunacy that is taught today were likely into prophet religions. Thus the need for the hairbrain explanations that is taught today. Can't make tenor if you want to think for yourself.

Neither side can be proved. At least my side has detailed written documentation dating back 1000s of years from multiple sources in multiple countries. Then there's ancient cities and monuments. Your side is some dude's opinion a 100+ years ago and guys wanting to make tenor.
