Mr. Buff -

I didn't just show up here AFTER the Chiefs won the Superbowl. I showed up here (here being the OM) in May of 2018, to announce the coming golden era of Chiefs football with Mahomes. There was an epic thread of me arguing long before the 2018 season about Mahomes being a surefire, hall of fame, multi superbowl winning QB. Obviously I caught nothing but ridicule and shit for all that until it happend. But to your point.....when I was a kid and Elway was ruining my childhood, there was no message board etc...but there were real life Bronco fans that really enjoyed rubbing it in...and it was especially poignant during the 90's and vermiel era where KC had some really good regular season teams....and couldn't do squat in the playoffs.....and all we'd ever hear from the Broncos fans after '99 was Lombardis are all that mattered, good/great regular seasons don't. Offseasons don't matter, postseasons do. With that in mind.......it's been fun watching you guys start to value offseasons so much! And have to wine and complain about KC winning Lombardis. One of your old favorites was "that Hunt trophy is named after your owner and you don't have one! HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR!!!! .......you can say that we are petty.....fine. We're petty. ......The Broncos still suck. The Chiefs don't. I'm here for it.

TBH, when the Broncos were dominating, except for them being a speed bump on our way to the SB, I didn’t think about the Chefs at all. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Zero's hard to figure. He first showed up on the old site couple weeks before 2018 training camps. Chefs had just lost I think their 10th playoff game in a row, and let Alex Smith go. So here's Zero, and he's very respectful, but also strangely confident. He says (paraphrasing) "You guys have had great success with Elway and Manning, we can't deny that. But now it's our turn. This Mahomes kid is the same kind of guy, he'll have the same kind of success as those guys." Lots of guys wanted to get pissed off at him, but he was too respectful.

Of course it looks like he might have been right. But now all his "respect" has evaporated.

Mr Buff - I enjoy the banter from engaging with others who don’t share my own views. I wouldn’t enjoy Chiefs planet.

I still revere the Elway broncos fwiw.

Also, I might not be a good representation of every Chiefs fan. I think really I have a personality flaw where I really have an unhealthy need to brag. You may have noticed a lot of my posting includes bragging on my wife and tax rate complaints that double as a sort of income brag.

I didn’t really think of the Chiefs when the Broncos won SBs in the ‘90s. I probably would have enjoyed rubbing it in the Raider’s faces back then. The Raiders already won three SBs and seemed more like our big brothers. The Chiefs had a better year that year, but the Raiders had a better history.

It's not the bragging that bothers me, it's all the endless Bronco hating ... and not the direct bashing, that I can handle. ew team; new 1st time coach (who sucked); new 1st time owner; second year 1st time GM; butt-load of injuries; and he got out over his skis trying to run everything. Every one of those problem fixed or fixable. He already lost 15 pounds and appears fully committed. Granted, he might not be the same QB he was in Seattle, but you'll get 100 to 1 odds he'll be much closer to that QB than his 2022 version.

The Manning Broncos were really good. The Chiefs were ass when Manning signed up with Denver. I remember KC wanting in on courting him, but I wasn't even mad that he passed over KC. I believe Scott Pioli was running things right into the ground about then, and had a well earned reputation for being an A hole that didn't know how to do anything without Bill Bellichick around. If I have that timeline mixed up....still wouldn't blame Manning for not wanting in. Clark Hunt was new to being an owner and KC wasn't in great shape football wise....and we didn't have a stable, legacy, great player like Elway to relate to and understand how that courtship and future planning should work. It was irked that Denver was going to get another HOF QB while KC was still screwing around with journeymen types.... I was pissed off when Denver won in 2015, because clearly Manning was washed completely up by then, and you won on the strength of a great defense. Burning in my soul having watched KC not do squat with some really good D's in the 90's. Never considered Manning the villain Elway was to me. I was glad the Broncos lost in 2013....that would have gone down as one of the all time great teams if they'd won the SB that year. I would probalby wine and complain more about Manning's use of hormones etc if they'd won that one. All in all the Manning Broncos were a very very good team and I saw them as extension fo the Elway broncos in that it maintained Denver as a pillar NFL franchise at the time (again, irritating)

I think the difference between Zero and RMO is that Zero doesn't rub it in our faces like RMO, who does it with inflated opinions. Some of what Zero posts are analytical and doesn't always make the Broncos the bad guy. He recognizes KC had their major problems before and Broncos are now, although not to the same level. RMO posts are more like KC has always been the dominant team (due to head to head) and he tries to shovel Bronco accomplishments under the rug, not as bad as Tim but they come close. I do give to him that Broncos have lost to them 15 games in a row, which is ridiculous on the Broncos part. But that really does not bother me, because every team has their highs and lows and winning regular season games, big deal. They do have the dominant QB, right now, it was their turn after 50 years. Besides, I think the defense is more important and that showed with their AFCC loss and loss to the Bucs AND their victory this year, their D finally showed up.

Zero tries to fit in and does a pretty good job of it. He participates in our draft and FFL. Yes, he says thing that rub us the wrong way at times. But I understand him not wanting to post on CP, damn they come up with some bad topics and they post like, well like Nyuk, and like Nyuk, they believe it. Then there was their bathroom habits thread. Daaaamn! I check out their board from time to time but have only posted about 15 times over a 15 year period and not after the SB.

YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE: I wasn't gonna do this, but he deserves it. About a year-and-a-half ago, Zero and I had become pretty friendly (it was before he turned hater). Not doxing here, but Zero and the Mrs and their Korean nail salon are located somewhere in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex. I'm originally from there, have family there, so while we were visiting Dallas, I decided to make a surprise visit - buy him lunch, maybe get a manicure. But when I got to the salon, he and his wife were yelling at each other in public ... without looking up from her client's nails, she scolded him "I work long hours here at salon, but you work regular hours so you have too much time on your hands, and you come here to bother us, just go home!" The weirdest part was several of the girls there chimed in "Yeah! Yeah!"

Anyway, I pulled out my phone and secretly took a photo of the explosive scene in the salon! Like I said, I wasn't going to do this, but if anybody wants to see the picture, I'll post it here. Let me know.
