He can still pressure the QB and help out. He had a couple of sacks in the playoffs last year.

Wouldn’t Leonard Floyd have perhaps been the better move?

Between Clark and Gregory and 20 million dollars with injury and suspension we should get 14 games out of them….

I mean Clark is kind of a scumbag but I don’t think Floyd is better. Teams know how much of his production is inflated by playing next to Aaron Donald and we’ve seen it before. I remember Drunken and a couple others talking about how great Dante Fowler was because he put up big sack numbers one year in LA and I pointed out how misleading that production was.

Also don’t get the “for this amount” complaint. That’s the least concerning bit. Clark is more decent starter than difference maker and the salary reflects that. What exactly does Nick think a productive veteran edge rusher costs?

Let's hope that Clark has learned his lesson(s) concerning off the field BS. As a pure talent, this is a bargain, but sure, it comes with a risk. I will point out that the $5.5 mil is what is guaranteed. Again, that is a bargain for his talent; he made the Pro Bowl 3 of his 4 yrs with the chiefs. He also has not played less than 14 games in his career; albeit his two games missed last year was for suspension. Also, his best games as a pass rusher last year were in the playoffs, the money games.

It's a 1 yr contract; relax fellas. If he doesn't work out, no harm; no foul. If we currently had any of the 3 bums as HC from the last 7 yrs, I'd be right there with you, but I'm no where near as concerned with Sean Payton. Besides, Wilson vouched for him, so we good.

I mean, isn't Sean Payton a bit of a scumbag? This type of player signing is right up his alley.

I know your statement is rhetorical, but you know why. After all these years, too many "fans" still don't fully understand 1 yr contracts, and depth signings. At this point of FA, almost all signings are going to have some level of risk, and therefore warrant a short term discounted contract.

Browning news sucks. I know he’s supposed to be back in camp “at some point”, but those offseason surgeries are scary and I never trust that those players will be back in time

Lol at fans wanting all fkn boy scout's on the team! Man **** that! Frank can come on in and sack n stop some runs and give information on the chiefs offense and defense. Win win for the Broncos. Idgad what he’s done in the past that’s his problem! He’s only here for a year if he even makes it the entire season.

He was pretty good in Seattle. Was never impressed with him in KC. Funny thing is he didn't get to the pro bowl until he started his decline.
