I’m not so sure. These guys have it like no previous generation. Trainers, dieticians, personal chefs. They can build and sculpt in ways previous athletes couldn’t.
Also, have you watched the workouts that guys like Bosa and Donald do? They are insane. Steroid guys usually can workout “less” and gain more - these guys push the limits of what an athlete can possibly do.
I don’t buy the steroid argument with those two at least. I’ve seen interviews about their diets and workouts. They know their bodies are their livelihood and they fine tune them (with millions of dollars to burn).
A thing about the Bosa boys, we were on a family trip to the Bahamas, Exuma to be exact. Cheryl, the mom, is a part owner of a restaurant there that we ate dinner at one night. We ventured to the bar, where she just so happened to be 3 sheets to the wind. But this woman, is massive. She's every bit of six foot 2. So I'd imagine they get a lot of genetics from both sides of the family. Add in a crazy workout routine, this is all them, minus some serious protein, creatine, and whatever legal supps they can take. But I would say no to the steroids. And if you're ever in the Bahamas and you venture to the Peace and Plenty, you may get luck enough to meet Cheryl. And just make sure you get the bar to play some 90's rap. She loves dancing and rapping to it.

That's not true. That's not what steroids do. The help you heal faster so you can workout more.

You may be correct, I'm no expert and I've never tried them. However, the people I know that DID use them kept their same workout schedule and increased mass during use. I'm sure they were able to increase the weight used on their exercises, but they didn't hit the gym any more than they did before (to experience some significant gains). That's just anecdotal, once again - I'm obviously not an expert on steroids.

If you want to keep people off drugs address them just like steroids . They make your ball shrivel up like prunes. That statement there made me stay far far away.
Every high end athlete has used some form of performance enhancing substance. It may not have been illegal then but you're going to push the limit of what you reasonably get away with.

Ding ding ding. And it's not just your early 90s Dianabol and Winstrol stack either or some Instagram influencer taking some Tren. It also doesn't hurt that many NFL players have 99th percentile elite level genetics which when combined with modern PEDs make them absolute freaks.
I don't buy the "only helps them heal faster" take although I'm no expert & don't know too much about PED's. Barry Bonds head about exploded like a garbage pale kid over a 1 year span. Was he doing head squats?
