  • Finally, Lock should start

You can say whatever you want, but Teddy would have not sniffed the end zone. Drew gave us a chance and showed some potential.

Yes, he fumbled but he chased it down. Compare that to Teddy. Kid is giving effort.

Teddy seems to have suffered his second head injury of the year. For his own benefit, he should be shut down.

Finally, it’s time to give practice snaps and a gameplan to Lock.

      Like it matters anymore.

But Lock should get the rest.

You nailed it. It doesn’t matter anymore.

Time to move on from both.. they suck.. fumbling at that time is unacceptable.
Lock has so many turnovers.. can't win games with that.

Even if he throws 10 TD's in next 3 weeks.. we need to go in another direction.

I doubt it. For some reason Vic can't stand Drew Lock.

Word is he was on the horn to the League offices when TBW went down, asking for a waiver to make Rypien active retro-actively.

They still can’t trust Drew to do basic shit like read the edge defender on a zone read, something children can do.

That said, I’m sick of the Teddy brand of incompetence. Give me big plays and big **** ups.

Yes. Of course that's what I mean. The season died today.

I dislike Teddy about the same amount as Orton.
Lock is a dufus for letting a fat slow dude just take the rock out of his hands.

And **** Shurmer too... I hope he is fired and someone pees on his door handle.

Remember that time back on the Mane when I was too wild and I offered to beat up Shane and pee on him after and everyone was like "leave the new guy alone"? Look all these years later... He still deserves a bitch slap. It's incredible.

Typically that improves with reps.Vic admitted no practice reps for Drew. Finally, he should get some.

You really don’t need practice reps to make a very basic read on that play. That was horrible.

I’m going to take that as a frustration comment.

Take it as an “I understand football” comment. Children are able to make that read all over the country every week. He knows how to do it, the problem is his brain breaks seemingly at random a few times every game and it leads to disaster. That’s not about coaching or practice, it’s who he is.

Who says it was read option?

It looked like a QB keeper to me.

And the only broken brain is Pat Shurmur for actually calling that when you have two 6'4 receivers matching up on 5'10 DBs.

A different view of the "play in question" from end zone seats.

It was a bad play call. No, you don’t want a fumble there, but he chased it down. That shows effort. He has that & potential over Teddy. WR’s actually caught the ball. Lock has drawbacks, but with 4 games left to play he should get his shot. I think it’s ironic with how Fangio treated Lock that Lock is now the QB that may help determine his fate.

                                  Shoe gazing Teddy is done.

the fumble play should’ve never happened. Shouldn’t even been in that formation. You got small DBs and tall WRs in the end zone. Yet you call an RPO with bengals crowding? It’s junk.

Shurmur doesn’t deserve another playcall opportunity. Just dump him now.

Even Patrick knew to exploit small CBs in the redzone by his celebration.
