I was watching some of the kind of negative Youtubers and thought it would be interesting to think about some of their takes. Some are kind of out there it seems but they sure believe it. Some of their takes (if I have them right):
1) Elway is running the front office (he hired everyone) and still pulling the strings. The owners need to clean house
2) Justin Simmons is really bad and should just be cut. They like Sterns
3) The team is not getting players that fit the scheme and there is no consistent core schemes for the team these past eight years
4) The inside linebacker core sucks, the broncos have been giving up passes in the middle of the field for eight years (team got rid of
good bakers like Kenny Young for some unknown reason and put browning out of position on the line etc etc)
5) Team is not addressing the line play on both sides. Only good free agent for the most part was Powers.
6) Teams are going to run all over the broncos this year due to player talent and VJ's scheme which
doesn't stop the run and doesn't stress tackling.
7) Payton may walk and retire if the front office situation isn't fixed. Payton needs to be checked by a strong front office such as the one in NO (with Loomis and Ireland) so the team makes wise draft and free agent choices.
