Fantastic pick! Especially for a team that can’t block a paper bag!

It's interesting, means we wanted to be more physical in the secondary and have better overall coverage. Adding Sanders, Moss and Skinner helps the pass coverage and adds match up guys to the defense.
We are definitely running more press and man coverage as Vance likes with these picks.

I'm glad wolf is always upset. I hope every Broncos draft pick, trade, signing, whatever makes him upset for the rest of our lives.

That field is just so ridiculous. I hope they'll get in a real conference that will tell them to knock that crap off.

Aw but his lithe figure belies the prodigious nature of his tarpaulin skills.

Wouldn’t need to if they drafted one that’s good.

constant drafting of the same position means you’re ****ing up. OJ was supposed to convert. He blew. Jackson being old means some were needed.

Simmons on the side of the age mountain.

                              bring ‘em all in.

                                  Welcome!

I don't think most posters realize about 60% of drafted players are not on an active roster within 3-4 years.

In a draft with just 5 picks, at least I have to respect the Broncos for targeting players they really like to see if they can get a few hits instead of just trying to fill some needs.

Very nice how they hit the major needs in free agency, so that they could take the BPA (best player available) during the draft. Wise, mature drafting strategy by Payton and Paton.

More than that, they drafted guys who are going to play. Even if it's to boost special teams. These guys are going to have roles and likely in the 2 deep.

Sims comes in as your immediate starting slot, he can help you stretch the field and has multiple positions he can line up as in addition to being a returner. May push Washington off the roster.
Sanders gives you a ILB to add to Jewell and Singelton. Gives them to ability to play match up in coverage against these TE heavy package teams. Also gives a boost to the pass rush.
Moss gives you that 4th CB to give depth behind Mathis as a starter and Williams at nickel. Also likely keeps Smith in a mostly special teams role where he excels.
Skinner gives you another big coverage match up type at S. Will help push Caden Sterns and Turner-Yell, potentially a Simmons replacement in the future should we need to move on.
Traded that pick for Trautman who gives them another receiving option at TE and may push both Dulcich to get better and O to improve or get cut.
