Man what a dissapointment he was. He looked like he was going to develope into a 10 plus year probowl type player after a good rookie year. He never got any better than year one and got worse. He just kept getting ink and playing the Fort Morgan(or whereever he was from out there maybe Brush) card. He would be good depth.

11:30 mark…
Risner can’t get a job…thought he would get 10 million a year…
sad, idiot bum.
Risner seems like an amazing person, even if he’s a marginal football player. No reason to go attacking him, he’s creating his own future.
The Broncos didn’t sign him to a long term contract, and he moving along with his life - no need to be petty. He really seems to be an amazing person by giving his time and effort to others in need.
get over it.

Risner deserves some special appreciation for his off the field work - he started his first charitable organization when he was still a kid in college, and its a bit different from what many players actually commit to. Why on earth do you talk about "not giving respect," then you throw shade at him? You're takes (and comprehension) are just bizarre. You literally created your own argument, then argued against it.

So was Risner a good draft pick by Elway? A four year average to slightly below average starter, that isn't too bad for where he was picked in top 1/3 of 2nd round. So I would say a quality draft pick. It saved the broncos from paying a FA vet for those four years at LG.

Who cares? Kinda ok with the lineman having sucked because the QBs sucked. Can't truthfully judge unless a real QB gets a shot. And no that's not Wilson, he's gonna get fixed by Payton making him only play plays he's good at. That's a system QB that needs his system. Not a Bad ass real QB. So like who cares if we had a bust or not? Same losing record with good line play (Wilson had enough time and ignored wide open dudes a lot. Lock threw to them but late and on a rope always. No damn touch in that dude. Seimian been the best we had since Manning.)

Risner is probably doing the right thing. After not getting the deal he wanted during the 1st wave of FA, he is waiting until the draft is over to see which team will be the best fit and possibily offer a better deal based on need. Former Bronco Connor McGovern is in the same situation and he was a solid center for the Jets.
