Official 2023 UDFA Round thread
The 2023 UDFA (UnDrafted Free Agent) Round is open to all 32 teams who participated in this year’s regular Orange Huddle Mock Draft. All prospects who went undrafted in the regular draft are eligible for bidding in the UDFA round. Below are the rules (no changes from last year):
1) All teams have an allocation of $100,000 to use for bids.
_______________________
2) The minimum bid for any player is $4000. The maximum bid for any player is (obviously) $100,000.
_______________________
3) Bids can be in any increment, as long as it’s more than $4000 and less than $100,000. For example, you can submit a bid of $4237 if you like. No decimals though, please.
_______________________
4) You may also submit a list of contingency players, in case any of your regular bids are trumped. Once activated, all contingency players are automatically given a bid value of $3000.
_______________________
5) The total number of players on your list (regular bids + contingency players) may not exceed 50 players all together.
_______________________
6) Bids may be submitted via PM to me as soon as the last player is picked in the regular OH mock draft. Please do not send me bids before that time -- all PMs sent before the start of the bidding period will be unread and deleted. I will send my list of UDFA bids to JCMElway at this time, and will not read your bids until mine have been sent to him.
_______________________
7) Send your list of bids once, and once only. No revisions are allowed once your bids are sent. No exceptions!
_______________________
8) Any invalid bids (players already selected in the OH Mock draft, or ineligible players) will be nullified, and contingency players (if any sent) will be substituted.
_______________________
9) In the event of a tie (identical top bids), the person who sent their list first will win the bid.
_______________________
10) The deadline for submitting bids will be 11:59 p.m. (MDT) on Tuesday, April 18th. This will give everyone a couple of weekend days and a couple of weekdays to pull their bids together. Results will be posted on Wednesday morning, after all bids are cross-checked and collated.
