As a Rockie fan, you have to root for small victories and one of the keys to this season will be the development of Elehuris Montero at 3B and Ezequiel Tovar at SS.

Are we done paying StL for taking Nolan yet?

        No.
        • Colorado agreed to pay up to $51M, including:
          • guaranteed payments: $14,429,500 in 2021 (toward 2021 salary), $16M in 2023 (toward deferral of 2022 salary)
          • conditional payments (if Arenado does not exercise right to opt out): $5,570,500 in 2022 and $5M each in 2024-26

Sadly I thought I was being a wise-ass and last year was the end of it.

          Depressing.

As long as Monfort owns the team, forget about them. Nothing there.

Wish I could fire both Monforts directly into the sun. That would do more towards improving the Rockies than any other conceivable event.

I will say I never understand some of these baseball money lines. Rockies are like +180ish both yesterday and today.

But we pretty much split the season with the Padres last year I think. Even bad baseball teams win a decent percent of the time. The near 2-1 payouts seem like a good target.

The juice on winning the Padres season series this year was like 6 to 1.

Also crazy. But probably less likely to be an outlier than any one game.

Not me. Best feeling in the world standing on the mound and having the whole universe waiting to exhale. Should I go down and in? Or make them chase it? He's scared and I can sense it. Just bring the heat and put this fool out of his misery.

Same old Rockies. They'll be lucky to win 50 games this season......

                              Only 1 game below .500 though! 😂

Rockies should consider moving down to the minor league so they can be competitive.
