He talks a lot about Russ. Calls the reserved parking spot thing BS. Thought Hackett could be a good coach but was in over his head and had horrible assistants. Spoke very highly about Denver.

Wasn’t it a few days ago Zach Bye said Melvin Gordon told someone that he didn’t get a chance in Denver because they wanted Davonte to start

yes, that was the story which is laughable because once Williams got hurt, he was the Home guy by far.

When it works out you look like a genius, when it does not then you look like a moron. But some coaches are extremely loyal and will follow a guy anywhere, it's also why some coaches will sooner get their entire staff fired than to remove one coach from the equation.

Sure they do it. But a good/smart coach also knows he needs a good staff. You can’t fill your whole staff with poor quality coaches. You want guys to make your job easier and make you look better.

Most coaches fill their staff with guys they feel will work the best under them, not necessarily the best coaches.
Belichick produces assistant coaches all of the time but they are terrible on their own. Shanahan produced only Kubiak before the tree blew up after Washington and then Kyle's ascension in Atlanta.
Sean Payton has produced Dan Campbell and that's about it from his coaching tree. Mike Tomlin is one of the best coaches in the business and produces next to no top tier assistants nor HC candidates.
