Foundations are different than 501C3 charities. Foundations are what philanthropists set up to do some goal that's considered a good thing and give their kids a job instead of just losing that money to death taxes. They usually get their cash from philanthropy as opposed to charity donations.
Foundations are likely getting most funds from the person that set it up and a few others.
Look at the Carnegie and Rockefeller foundations. No Charity. They get big donations from billionaires. Then the other one that didn't get the donation adds the philanthropists kids to their board. That foundation keeps going even though the billionaire can't pass billions down. They guarantee their kids get big salaries for being on the board even after they die and lose their billions down to millions. They have to do musical chairs. But the foundations work together to prop each other up and allow the wealthy to stay wealthy.
My family has a foundation.
That is the way it does good things. I decide what my tax money does instead of handing it over so the government decides for me.
Y'all need to chill about foundations.
And seperate them from charities in your minds.
Focus on the 'he's mentally declined' part.
Focus on the can't throw over the middle mid range or short.Last edited by Old Coyote; 02-08-2023, 10:56 PM.

This is all kind of sad for Wilson. The bigger issue is the IRS is now engaging. He lied on the tax returns, didn’t identify the members that were receiving up to $200k in salary. Claims it was human error. Sorry, with the type of money he has his wife make, they don’t mess with accountants that would make human errors. This is tax evasion and it could get ugly for Wilson. Just the $.24 on the dollar ratio is damaging for him. But only damaging in terms of reputation. Lying on tax returns takes this to a different level and the legal ramifications for Mr Squeaky Clean could be significantly worse than just tarnishing his golden boy image.
My big question, could the Broncos leverage this to conduct unbecoming and find an out with his contract. I imagine there are clauses and stipulations for illegal activity that would offer a breach of contract for termination for cause clause. But, I don’t know much about NFL contracts. In the real world tho, those clauses 100% exist in every contract to reduce a buyers risk.
