Jets Hire Hackett as OC

I really like Saleh as a HC. He built the 49er defense, as far as I’m concerned. And if the jets were to fire him this year, I would want him as a serious candidate. It wasn’t his fault Zach Wilson is a bust and a product of the over-hyped draft media.
But it was his fault he hired a rookie OC that so happened to have a name, La Fluer. Now is Hackett his 2nd straight mistake? Maybe, maybe not. If they land Rodgers or someone else(Carr?) I can see the fit. But if he’s expected to rehab Wilson, doubtful.
Btw, everyone is saying Rodgers to NY, but that’s pie in the sky. You don’t hire a guy just for something that may not happen—ahem Paton/Hackett—you hire him because you think he’s just what you need. We know that Carr is being moved, we don’t know where. Why not NY?Last edited by R8R H8R; 01-26-2023, 10:10 AM.

I would have said he either does what I say he'll do or I quit and good luck finding a new coach before your season starts.
But instead he said, "Golly Russ! I'm so excited to coach you! You can do whatever you want!"
It's very convenient to blame Russ now. I mean, we all saw what happened this season. Sorry you were fired because you don't have the guts to call a spade a spade.

Damn I love Football!
I'm inclined to believe Wilson was every bit the problem Hackett was (if not more) I can't wait. CAN NOT WAIT for some nobody OC that Ryans brings in try to tell Russ what he can or can't do.
Russ is going to say all the right (rehearsed things) take all the right (staged) social media pictures. He'll smile and talk about how exicted he is to work with (INSERT NAME HERE)
I thought 2022 was fun. 2023 is going to be just as good or better.

When the customers found out, they banded together and filed a class action lawsuit against Zerovoltz. The court case was long and grueling, but in the end, the judge ruled that Zerovoltz must lick the toes of every person who had contracted the fungus as a form of punishment.
Zerovoltz was horrified at the thought of having to lick the toes of so many people, but he had no choice but to comply with the court's ruling. For weeks, he went from person to person, licking their toes and trying to make amends for his mistake.
After the punishment was over, Zerovoltz was forced to give up his nail salon and take a job as a janitor at Arrowhead Stadium. He worked hard and tried to put the past behind him, but the memory of his punishment lingered.
Despite the shame and embarrassment he felt, Zerovoltz learned a valuable lesson about the importance of proper sanitation and the consequences of cutting corners. He made sure to always follow proper procedures in his new job and was determined to never make the same mistake again.
Overall, It was a harsh lesson, but it taught Zerovoltz the importance of taking responsibility for his actions and the impact they can have on others.
