Lol, not THAT bad. 🤣 (Although I did get a little nervous when I heard names like Caldwell and Raheem Morris being mentioned. 🤦🏼♂️) Biggest problem with Shaw is he’s a college coach, and we know how that usually ends. But he’d be better positioned to succeed than most college coaches IMO. Wouldn’t be super pumped about his hire, but wouldn’t absolutely hate it, either. I think we could do a lot worse.

DeMeco Ryans has won me over as the top candidate. There is a uniqueness to how those around him respond him. Certain people have the leadership ability to elevate the demeanor of the people around them. He's that dude. Players will go to war for him and WPG will give him a huge war chest to sign whatever experienced assistants he wants.Comment

Can he organize an entire team? Can he split his time into the additional duties required including personnel for the entire team, take care of every aspect of the game plan? All questions that a first time coach must experience and learn on the fly. How involved has he been in that process in San Fran? There is hope but it is just that with DeMeco Ryans. No more first time coaches... it is time for some stability with a proven commodity.

I'm leaning towards Ryans myself. I wouldn't be upset with Peyton or Quinn either.
The biggest question with Ryans is who's running the offense.
Does he go old and experienced or a young guy like Byron Leftwich.

Cards - Quinn, Payton, or Flores
Broncos - Ryans, Quinn, Payton, or Shaw
Colts - Saturday, Morris, Quinn or Evero
Texans - Ryans, Evero, or Kafka
Panthers are only ones that have a final list atm, people think they're going with Reich. Texans and Cards are the only teams I'm worried about getting our guy.Comment
