  • Stan Kroenke buying property south of empower field

What is Mr. Stanley up to here buying more Denver real estate around empower field. Is he planning on filling the surrounding sites with commercial high rises.

One report I read over a year ago, stated that Mr. Kroenke did not care about Denver’s patented skyline and would build and accept only top dollar for every piece of commercial and residential real estate he can fit onto each individual site.

I believe he knows something that we don’t and that is the Walton Penner group does not plan on keeping empower Field in the location that it is at the moment.

New stadium. Retractable dome to host Superbowl games.

According to Shane, Kroenke bought up land all around the Rams old stadium in St Louis. And then turned it all the reverse of gentrification. And fomented a yearning to leave the city.

Perhaps he's just buying what he knows his inlaws will want and he's gonna profit off his sneaky?

You guys are worst then an old woman's sewing circle. Like you are allergic to change or something. If the above news is true it mans the stadium is staying in downtown and the Broncos aren't moving (not that they ever were). And for what it's worth "patented skyline" Really?? News to me that Denver is special for skyline. For the rest of us the impressive thing about Denver is the mountains not t he skyline.

When I lived in Colorado, Denver was known for its brown cloud and there wasn't a skyline. We didn't look towards Denver though. Why the hell would you?

Stan also owns a significant portion of land in ShaneFalco’s head. That was not mentioned in the article.

If you had any brains at all, you would understand that the patented skyline is meant to keep the view to the west viewable. It means that the people that live in the inner city downtown pay high costs of living so they can have the view of the mountains. That’s why there’s a pattern it’s skyline to the west of downtown dummy!

Also you’re the one whining like an old lady. I posted the article to share information and speculate. If you can’t appreciate that then stay out of the thread… Its that simple…

I swear some of you cry babies were bullied even after high school. Lmao

Thanks for clearing that up. Also I don't give a **** about some assholes view of mountains from downtown. You want mountain views move to the actual mountains. If you are going to live in a million plus person city be prepared for things to change.

Maybe they’re buying up property because they know the stadium will be upgraded in-place and have identified a way to profit by improving the area?

I remember the brown cloud and intense smell of smog. In the winter it was hard to see downtown at night because of the smog.

I lived mostly in Boulder. We could see that brown cloud from really far away. I only went in to Denver a handful of times.

Do you remember the old blow-up indoor practice facility the Broncos used next to the Coliseum on I-70? It was close to the meat packing plants by the stockyard and the smell of boiling blood was horrendous when mixed with the interstate traffic smog. Totally different world back then.

So, a billionaire is doing billionaire things next to the property he already owns. Conspiracy? I'd be buying undervalued downtown property in major metro areas if I was a billionaire also. Smart investment.
