Years ago, Jack Nicholson was jawing at a ref during a Lakers game, and apparently the ref had enough, and threatened to throw him out. Well, it escalated to the point that Jack was standing in the court waving his arms and yelling a bunch of shit at the ref. Eventually, everyone calmed down, and things went back to normal.
In fact, everyone was very amused over the whole thing, mostly because Jack is an icon in LA & Lakers games, and because most everyone understood it as fun theatre. Also, because it involved a ref, not a player.
But that’s not what this incident appears to be. I agree with Kip, Sharpe is acting childish, and there’s nothing funny about it.Comment
