  • Shurmur , Bridgewater and Fangio need to be fired yesterday - Kiszla is pissed.

Kiszla is pissed off and rightfully so. I cherry picked a few of his quotes. I fully agree but I also feel he lacks the attack on Fangio. Fangio is more to blame then Shurmur or TBW, as he is the reason they are still playing.

" Trailing 10-3 with 12 minutes, 16 seconds remaining until halftime, the Broncos took possession of the football at their own 3-yard line.

The ensuing 20-play drive took longer than the last time I twiddled my thumbs while on interminable hold with my cable television provider.

And it turned out to be every bit as aggravating. So here’s another bullet point for Shurmur to put on his resume after Denver fires him. Shurmur became the first NFL offensive coordinator in more than three years to engineer a 20-play drive and come away with zero points.

Needing two yards on third down to get first-and-goal at the K.C. 6, Shurmur inexplicably called a pass play, which resulted in Bridgewater being so quickly flushed from the pocket that his only choice was to quickly heave a weak, incomplete pass out of bounds to avoid a sack. On fourth down, in a formation that screamed run, Williams got stuffed and the Denver offense walked off the field with zero points after possessing the football for more than 11 minutes. If you are in four-down territory and require only 72 inches to move the sticks, why not pound the rock with Williams on consecutive snaps?

Say goodbye, Mr. Shurmur. And take Teddy B with you. Please. "

    i finally agree with Kizla
if you know you are going for it on 4th down run it twice on 3rd and 4th down

Denver should be running it more than it passes it on 3rd and 2

both Shurmur and TB can leave anytime

We should also note we just signed Sutton and Patrick to huge extensions. They had a combined 3 catches for 24 yards. Patrick 1 catch for 9 yards and Sutton had 2 catches for 15.

....I don't disagree with your point...those guys got paid to make things happen. ...so they should be more involved....I just wanted to point out...KC under spags, is consistantly near or at the top of the NFL in defending WR's. They were top 3 last year and I think are in the top 3 so far this season.

James hasn’t been the only one. I’ve been saying this shit for a while….

pure dysfunction when the fired GM gets promoted and hires the new GM. Forcing the shit terrible trash coaching staff on him.

up and down this is among the most dysfunctional team in the league. Right on par with Lions Jags.

Klis making excuses as usual. Give me Kizla anyday as he tells the truth.

since when is the point totals of games not the HCs accountability? It’s like he’s pretending Fangio is just the DC here :

0 points is better than 3 points in Fangio’s world. Would someone please teach the old bastard how a scoreboard works? Then we’ll talk about how to use time outs and challenges.

should have stuck with Scags as o-coordinator in 2020, Lock was playing well in his system. Shurmur has been a total bust.

Can we talk about Fangio’s terrible decision to receive the ball on the opening kick? Your offense has only scored once on an opening drive in like the last 3 years, yet you take the ball knowing they’re going 3 and out?

NFL teams choose to get the ball in the 2nd half like 98% of the time now, yet Fangio thinks he’s smarter than everybody…

If you choose to receive, do you tend to get more possessions in a game? Not sure where to find those numbers. Just trying to theorize why here…

Everyone knew we were going to try to ground and pound that game away. Vic decided telegraphing it even more was the smart man's move. And then 3 n' out'ing instead.

We were all so stoked when he got fired but man, apparently we didn't realize that he at least knew who to play call to Lock's strengths and get the best out of him.

He was doing next-gen stuff with Lock that he learned in SF.
