    I leave for Iceland vacation, come back and see all the wistful lust for proper coach hires…

    it’s all a show, the Penners are deferring to Georgiano, wake up sheep!

    Dan Quinn, enjoy…it’s so awful that Paton the architect of suck is the new Horse Facer GM.🐴

      I agree that Paton will have to relinquish the draft and FA moves, or at least be 2nd in command to a new head coach we can rely on.

                I’ve long said it’ll be Quinn…..Because that’s how Paton does it…if the owners hire the HC(shouldn’t happen in a competent FO) I’d HOPE it’s someone else.



                can’t wait to hear how Quinn can “fix” Wilson.


                Payton/Harbaugh etc are just fluff that they did their homework. I HOPE for the right hire but it’ll be Quinn and will end up being just like VJ Fangio Hackett. A fail.


                mind blowing that the worst GM in sports history still in the building after endless whiffs in 2 years time.

                      Embarrassing they had to come out and say “ownership” will be the ones choosing the HC.

                      a healthy FO should always have the GM choose it. Dysfunction is telling us owners will choose but it still ends up being Patons **** boy becoming HC.



                      Since we can get a GM firing, we all just need to hope ownership chooses their HC. Not listen to Paton. I don’t think they pick Quinn if it’s up to them.

                        I disagree. Penner saying that the coach will report to him opens the door for a coach like Payton or Harbaugh to have the additional power they crave. Paton will be involved for sure. Someone has to negotiate contracts and manage the scouting department. IF it is a coach like Harbaugh or Payton, they will tell George what kind of players they want and will steer the ship as well as have massive input into the players selected as well as selecting their own staffs. This isn't unusual in the NFL.

                                      The whole $400k for a new field is a spin job. The reality of the situation, players formally complained to the Players Association that the field was in such bad shape that it was an unsafe playing surface. The Broncos PR'd this into a positive for the team but it was not just them doing it out of commitment to the brand. SPIN JOB

                                        The only way Paton is saved is if they hire Quinn.

                                        Obviously, Paton wants Quinn.

                                        If owners have some sense, they will settle for Harbaugh or Payton.

                                        I hope you are wrong this time... It will be horrible if Quinn is the coach

                                            Stadium maintenance and upgrades are completely different things. Maintenance is done yearly, it is required. Upgrades are done as needed to boost the look and feel of the stadium, not done yearly and usually cost quite a bit.
