  • Hope !

That's what that game was. It was a statement that they can play. Oddly I have felt JJ has stood up and started to lead this team. I thought he had quit and I will give him an attaboy.

The team had heart and spirit. This is what I thought we would have seen day one. Sadly we didn't but it sure was nice to see we can and we will.

Wilson seem to have snapped out of his higher then almighty cloud he was riding. Looked like the old Russ today.

Gotta give it up to PSII and Simmons. I would like to have seen what Simmons could have done with a full year in.

If we can get a coach that can coach Wilson, somehow keep Evero, Get JW back and somehow fix our O-line . We could finally see playoff next year.

It starts and ends with the OL but man alive, coaching is crucial. Hackett hired a coach to coach the coaches and he still couldn't coach his coaches...

      I don’t see the playoffs

Home: Packers, Vikings, Patriots, Jets, Browns, Commanders, Chiefs, Chargers, and Raiders

Away: Bears, Lions, Bills, Dolphins, Texans, Chiefs, Chargers, and Raiders

        I see 10 wins.
Packers will likely be resetting next year, Pats are not that good, Jets are bad without a QB, Browns will be improved but I don't see a lose, Commanders same as Jets, Chargers are home is probably a win, same with the Raiders.
Bears will still be fairly bad next year without a massive influx of spending on FA talent. Texans will suck ass no matter what and Raiders don't scare me.

But more importantly than anything else...we will have a highly competent HC.

We’ll see if the roster undergoes a massive overhaul with Harbaugh/Payton at the helm or just cycling through the coaching turnover (Reich/Quinn) again with the minimal changes to this crap roster.

I don’t see the playoffs either way until this team starts winning more than one divisional game a season.

Upgrade the coaching staff + the trenches on both side.

going to be hard to fix the oline. free agents are bare and lineman rookies mostly suck nowadays. might need to make a trade.

Amen brother. I’m sure that’s the plan.

This team was within one score in most games all season long even with absolute disastrous offensive performance and tons of injuries.

If there is any silver-lining when analyzing what transpired this year—that would be it for me.

If the Broncos can upgrade the trenches, add a few playmakers, and find a way to help Russell Wilson succeed (Top 10-12 QB)—a wildcard spot is doable.

Keep in mind , last night they said we had 21 players on I.R. That is half our team. I understand that injuries weren't our whole problem this year, but I really think this part of the story was undersold this year. Seeing Russ play yesterday and seeing him want to win , was a really nice thing. HOPE!

I saw a half dozen teams this weekend vying for a playoff spot with 8 wins. I also saw a completely different Broncos team the last two weeks with PS guys all over the field. They were all competing.

Get a competent coach, make building the trenches a priority, and an effective offseason program to keep most our starters healthy, and there is no reason not to have hope next year.

I’m not gonna piss in your cornflakes buddy. The 2 games showed Hackett played the biggest role(aside from my Paton hate) in this disaster. I already made a thread turning a corner on Wilson being able to at least be competent going forward.

im not sure how they’ll play in 2023 until the offseason shakes out and we see who coaches. If it’s Payton/Harbaugh they could compete. If it’s a Quinn type it’s gone be ugly.

Well we don't agree on most things but I can agree I'm done with the defensive GURU style coach. Give me a Shanny style , where you were almost guaranteed a TD the first drive. That was such a nice time.

Gotta hope they get this hire correct. But what we saw in these 2 games lights out different than the previous ones.

the playcalling was better the effort was better the penalties were better the basic management of the playclock time clock etc was better. Every aspect Hackett ****ed up in games before was improved in 2 weeks. This should’ve happened at the bye, but at least ownership did what Paton should’ve done and we got to see Wilson at least look like he belongs in those 2 games.

Didn't Outten call the plays? If so it's hilarious that his playcalling was so much better than Hacketts and he was just supposed to hold a clipboard.

I know Rosberg told him to take out all plays that aren’t a fit for Wilson. Someone had tweeted that. They used the most plays Wilson was comfortable with.

I said it in game day thread (I think). I heard him say it in his PC after game.

We need a coach that will keep Russ down to earth, reality. Hackett could not do that.

I'm liking what I see from Ownership so far. Paton, if he stays, will shows his worth as he in gonna have to find some real value players to fill out that O-line, and depth behind it.

Nicholas Petit-Frere was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the third round, 69th overall, of the 2022 NFL Draft.

He was the one I wanted because he would have been our immediate starter at RT and could take over at LT once Bolles leaves. There were several others that could have started for us at RT as rookies. Linemen are available every year. The Broncos just stupidly **** themselves out of upgrading the line every season.
