  • Back to back third-round picks for the Broncos!

Dear Orange Huddle friends and Broncos brethren,

The Football Gods have smiled upon us this day. I write to you in good spirits and with tremendous news. Our beloved Broncos have the #68 and #69 overall selections in the third round of this year's NFL Draft!

I most certainly believe Denver will trade down with one of these selectionsβ€”but the ability to pick two generational superstars back-to-back may be just what the doctor ordered to revive hope across Broncos Country.

May we all come together in NFL Draft prayer and hope Denver doesn't select a McTelvin Agim, Isaac Yiadom, Carlos Henderson, or Brendan Langley. Lord knows Elway wasn't sober for those picks. Shame!

    Sincerely,

    Your Pal Requiem

Last time Paton picked back to back in a round was this past year in round 4.

I'm hoping for 2 interior O Lineman with those picks.

Options at C Olusegun Oluwatimi, Ricky Stromberg, Luke Wypler.

          Options at LG
Steve Avila, Andrew Vorhees, Ricky Stromberg, Nick Broeker, Warren McClendon.

It could all change depending on FA. If we can grab Ethan Pocic at C and a guy like Andre Dillard that can slide down to LG then we really only need a RT in the 1st.

I'd still like to see Hamler traded for anything you can get from him. I'd take a 5th round pick happily, he's good but never healthy.

After Cutting Glasgow, Darby, Edmonds, Martin we should have plenty of cap space on top of the 13 million in space we already have. Sign Dremont back if he wants to be here, if not tag and trade him, maybe even package him with Hamler for a better return.

Yeah, I'm going to have to agree with the "move on" from Hamler perspective. I'd rather see a guy like Jalen Virgil get those touches, and Jalen is a pretty good special teamer. No reason to keep a roster spot for someone who can never play.

Big YES to building the O-line by every means possible. We need to get beefy on the interior line and crush people's souls on run plays.

Team weaknesses should be addressed with those picks. QB, Oline, Dline, OLB, RB, WR, and TE have to be considered (with a heavy emphasis on Oline).
