And you can hear him speak in person at our Saturday December 18th lunch meeting.

After football Watson has had a successful career in real estate and as a public speaker. “I have been a public speaker all of my career in Denver and am now doing it for a living,” Steve writes on his linked in profile. “It is such a blessing for me to have been able to be part of the Denver Broncos. I am now telling my story in hopes that it may inspire people to not give up on your dreams. Set the bar high and stay in the game. You never know how close you are to achieving your goals.”

I met Steve Watson a few weeks ago and he is the nicest guy. He sent me an external hard drive and I loaded it up with a bunch of Broncos videos and I was returning the hard drive to him. He brought his laptop and we watch some videos together and he had a lot of stories to tell. He was talking about the Raiders corners and how Mike Haynes was technically sound and hardly made a mistake. Lester Hayes was more physical and tried to intimidate you. When he tells stories he does it with impressions and they are very interesting. This would be a very good meeting to attend if you have a chance to go.
