I was worried he would get snubbed because he didn’t make the top 10 of the fan vote last I checked.

Very worthy. Great draft pick that "got it" right from the beginning of his rookie year. A tough position to master and play at a pro level and he has done so in almost 2 full seasons.

One of the few bright spots in an otherwise meaningless season.

If he finishes strong it could happen. Gardner will get a spot IMO

I told you all before Paton drafted him that he was going to be the best CB for years. Some were pining for fields others for Parsons. And I told everyone that Surtain was worth more because he will be generational. Parsons is a bad ass, but I'd still take Surtain as he is rarer than a LB that is great. I saw him and had flashbacks of Champ Bailey.

He's the best CB prospect I've seen for more than a decade. (I had him slightly higher than Ramsey. And think he's going to be better when it's all said and done.)
If we had adopt a bronco here, he'd have been mine from the day he was drafted.

Let me guess, It's Sauce Gardner on the other side.

                        Could be...

                        More importantly though...
                        Why he named after skeet?

Excellent chance his body and skills overall will get even more pro ready.... he is excellent 10 year lockdown guy to build around.

Now if we could just have an average offense.

that's not to much to ask!

                          Phweeeeeew.

Usually when I buy a jersey, the player gets cut or goes downhill. Good to know Surtain broke my curse!

I loved Surtain pre draft but fully expected a QB especially when Fields was still on the board. I'm completely happy with Surtain though, he's a professional on and off the field.

Hopefully Mathis continues his development on the other side as well. Outside of that 1st game he started he's been impressive this season.

He reminds me of Champ a lot. He even has show to have the WTF games that champ used to always have where he is beaten like a drum several times. They come out of the weeds and you are like WTF is going on. Jerry Porter in the snow and Adams this year.
