I have never sports bet but I put 20 bucks down on the Miami/NE game. They have NE winning by 3. WTF. Miami will kill them. That is a lock. Lock it in. Bet that game.

I gave up fantasy last year (was over it) and have been thinking about this. Does anyone have a recommended site? Do you still have to do the offshore bank thing?

No longer need anything offshore..just gotta be in one of the places its legal (Colorado is) I like DraftKings as they have odds on some odd ball stuff like the hot dog eating contest. And I can also bet on Chinese Table Tennis in the middle of the night

I bet Denver to cover spread is 5 and then parlayed to keep giants under 20.5

I think your bookie is padding the spread, as it was only 3 yesterday. But I like your 2nd leg of the parlay.

For the rookies: use the “money line” when you like a team to win, but your not sure if they could/will cover. And combine them in a 2 team parlay to reduce the odds on favorites.

Here is an example of using the ML instead of points. Remember, in a ML bet, the team just needs to win, no points, but you have to give odds on a favorite, and get odds on an underdog.

                    SF -400 @ Lions
                    Bills -300 vs Steelers

Giving up $300 or $400 is a lot of money to get $100, so I bet them both in a parlay. They both have to win, but by combining the two, I got -140 odds on the ML bet. In other words, I now lay only $140 to win $100 as long as they both win. Again, no points.

Texas will be one of the last to adapt to anything remotely controversial (To Conservatives). I use Draftkings for PGA majors, pick players get paid based on performance ect. I can still do that for NFL but I can't bet on just a specific game. Looks like grey area options for me. Anyone have any tips?

                          very helpful thank you!

Overall I won about 100 this weekend. not bad for my first go at it.

really put too much hope on the packers and wasted 50

                            Great!
I tend to be a little more conservative on my bets in first week because crazy things happen, as you found out with GB, and i with Buffalo.

Broncos are a -6.5 pt favorite against Jax, and ML is -266. Tempting, and not as bad as I thought it was going to be.

Yeah I’m staying away from that one. Jax at home coming off getting blasted. Over there in heat/humidity plus an early game. No thanks.

Broncos saved my day yesterday, then I put a big money line bet on LA last night, won $260 total. Great first week for me.

That Gordon run put me over 22.5 for total Broncos points. I had just said too that the only way I cover that is a run to the house. It's nice when things like that go your way for a change lol.

I bought 1.5 pts. and have Broncos -4.5 for -128. I prolly didn’t need to buy the pts, but back to back east coast games, and the weather, prompted it.

I also have SF & the Rams in a ML parley. I got +152 if they both win, no points.
