I will always argue that while it can be an advantage for some players (especially in the trenches), it's a disadvantage for most. Having served a mission, I can tell you that you don't have time to do anything but proselyting (it's transitioned now to about half proselyting, half community service). A lot of players come back so out of shape that they never catch up, or simply with different priorities in life.
I can't complain, though. It's helped us win the Pac-12 South this year. 😀Comment

But, honestly I wouldn't advise it. BYU expects all of its students to live like Mormons. So, if you believe that you should be allowed to drink alcohol, engage in casual sex, or even experiment with your gender and sexuality, BYU is not the place for you.Originally posted by DomCasual View PostComment
