  • Russell Wilson a Raider?

So this week pretty much assured Wilson will be gone from Seattle.

He’s on record that he wants 4 teams. Cowboys Bears Raiders Saints. I’m sure that will adjust this offseason. Likely Miami gets thrown into his wish list. 2 of those teams are out(Cowboys bears) Raiders Saints…IMO he goes to Raiders with the capital they have over the Saints…

going to be a crazy offseason.

Patriots have a plan in place. Raiders may depend on coach, but they have Carr. Bears have a QBOF. Saints would be logical. We may move into place depending on how our season ends, owner, coach, etc. We have a lot to settle. If we do this in a positive manner could be good. Fresh start.

Broncos are making this team look more appealing to a good QB.

Outside people are starting to realize that it is a good QB away from being a contender.

If the Bronco's beat KC on Defensive strength of a bunch of rookies after defeating the chuggers on nothing else but Teddy dinks plus the run... That would make the point hit home.

Mac Jones is more attractive to them because the rookie contract(Wilson’s contract higher) and the draft picks used on Wilson.

of course Belichick isn’t young…..he’s retiring before Jones stops playing. So maybe a window there of Belichick thinking Wilson for a couple years.

          I think Raiders first….maybe Saints….Miami.

Wilson hates Denver. Likely doesn’t like the city or state either(only my opinion).

rarely do you see a player demand his agent make a statement about a team that’s NOT wanted. Highly doubt he changes his mind.

I see him being a Saint.

But money and talent change minds.

One of Seattle’s insiders said he would stop a trade to Denver. That he told his agent to put that out there. Could’ve been because Denver was sniffing around?

he pretty much said a big F U to all other teams back then. This list will have to change.

like others said that may change this offseason. That list had 4 teams. 2 of which are out of the equation and he will have to add other destinations.

Wilson? I have no idea. Since Cowboys have Dak too.

The Saints would have to come up with a miracle regarding the salary cap to acquire Wilson. They are already $60M over the cap for 2022.

                      I think that changes.

Unless he has a specific reason to hate the city or franchise, there's isn't another team out there he can go to that has the weapons we do, and that includes where he is now.

Anyone watching the game last night could see the frustration on Wilson’s face. He may be receptive to coming to Denver, if the new coaching staff is to his liking.

I think he saw the team would begin a rebuild with ownership in flux. If I was an older QB I wouldn’t choose that scenario either.

Wilson and his wife want to go to big media market for her acting career and his post career opportunities.

Isn't his wife a singer? Not an actor....
Also if that's the case Atlanta would be in play... unless he can get traded for Stafford.

I certainly wouldn’t consider New Orleans a “big media market”. Dallas isn’t really either.

Dallas Fort Worth is the 4th largest media market in the country. New Orleans while 40th it has a lot of TV/movie opportunities

I’m seeing 5th (NYC, LA, Chicago, Philadelphia are 1-4) but still large than I realized. That said, I still think NYC and LA are in a class of their own and I’m not sure what good those other markets would do his wife Ciara.

The more wins we rack up over the next 5 games are decreasing the likelihood of a coaching change. Most likely Shurmur goes, and maybe McMahon, but if we get into the playoffs we're stick with Vic again in 2022.

                              This, at the absolute minimum.

I wouldn’t bet on it. Fangio is loyal to those he likes. Fangio will probably keep his current staff, if retained.

                                  1. Fangio isn't going to be retained UNLESS, you guys sign Rodgers.
                                  2. It's not on his list, but I'd bet money Wilson being the next Giants QB. The Giants have ammo to trade. Gettleman is going to be fired. Daniel Jones is not an NFL starting QB...new GM will come in and clean house, and will have no ties to Jones. Wilson's wife wants to be in a big media market. the NY Market would buzz if this happend. It makes alot of football sense and the Giants have the cap space to make it happen wihtout much trouble.

I just think it's funny that Jones has a hurt neck so Glennon will start for him this week.

Let him go to Vegas and then swoop in on Derek Carr. I think Carr is better anyhow. In Denver, with this supporting cast he would be a 4500, 35 TD type of QB.

Wilson’s finger injury is clouding the view.

31 GMs would take Wilson over Carr IMO

You're probably right... especially on the finger part. By no means am I a Russell Wilson hater. I like the guy and the player. Would be a dream to have him in Denver but I don't think he wants any part of Denver.

IMO we need Russ for the next 4-5 years more than we need 3 first round picks.

New Orleans currently next year -59M . Denver +48M
